Eastlake Girls Soccer: Coaching Staff
Eastlake Girls Soccer

Varsity Head Coach: Chuck Krieble
Chuck returns for his ninth year and always the optimist expects grand things from all Lady Wolves in the 2013 season. While it is true that his day job is at Skyline High School where he teaches Police Forensics and Criminal Justice, he still howls at a full moon.

Coaching philosophy: LYOG (Live your own greatness)...anything is possible provided you always eat your veggies (especially on a pizza) and never, never, text and drive!

Varsity Asst Coach: Jacalyn Williams

This is Jacalyn's third year as Varsity Assistant Coach, bringing with her a wealth of soccer experience to the Wolves.  She played 4 years at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, as well as serving as an Assistant Coach there in 2004.  Jacalyn was also an Assistant U-16 coach at BRUNO, Brown University, JV Girls Head Soccer Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach at Camden Hills High School in Camden, Maine, from 2006-2008, and Cascade FC U-10 Girls Head Coach in 2009-2010. Jacalyn has her USSF National D license, and I currently a Special Education teacher at Eastlake High School.  She is excited to be involved in coaching this year at EHS!

JV Coach: Jordyn Wilson
Jordyn will be joining the coaching staff this year as the JV head coach. She says that she feels excited and blessed to have this opportunity and is looking forward to this season! Jordyn has played soccer since she was five years old. She has always had a love and passion for the game. She played all four years on Varsity at Mount Si High School where they went to state three out of four years. During her high school years she played club soccer for Eastside FC. She then went on to play for Northwest University as a four year starter. She also was a part of the Issaquah semi-pro team in the summer of 2012 (which is now the Seattle Reign Reserves). She did not try out this year as she went on trips to see the world this Summer, but she plans on trying out again next year. She recently traveled to Ecuador on a Mission trip which included playing soccer with nearly 3000 students. Jordyn graduated from Northwest University this May and received her degree in Secondary Education with an endorsement in Biology. She looks forward to working with the Eastlake ladies and sharing her experience and passion with them!

C Team Coach Kara Popp

This will be Kara Popp’s second year of coaching at Eastlake High School. Kara has coached soccer for over 15 years, starting with Recreational soccer for both boys and girls, Select teams, ranging in age from U10-U16, and continues her coaching experience with middle and high school girls.  She has coached teams to league and tournament championships at various ages/levels, but player and team development comes first.

She is actively involved in soccer with all 5 of her children, who play on local club teams, through to the collegiate level. She loves soccer because it is an activity that her entire family enjoys and loves to play together. It teaches teamwork, dedication, perseverance and commitment.  Kara believes the sport keeps them close, both on and off the field, and they are lucky to have found something all are passionate about and have connected through.

Kara looks forward to another great season with the EHS girls!
