Wolves 5th Consecutive State Run ends at Sweet Sixteen

The Lady Wolves State Run ended Tuesday night after a heartbreaking loss to Kentwood.  A late goal in the 1st half put Kentwood ahead 1-0.  Kentwood's combined strong defense and goalkeeping showed why they hold 16 shutouts and only 2 goals against, and resulted in keeping the Wolves scoreless for the full 80 minutes.

"Eastlake blanked by Kentwood defense, season comes to end" - Seattle Times Prep soccer

Congratulations Girls on a great season and making it to State for the 5th consecutive year!

Wolves Win Bi-District Match - ON TO STATE and the SWEET SIXTEEN round!

WIAASOCCER

After facing torrential downpours and strong winds on their road trip south to play Skyview in the Bi-District match, the Wolves came home with a 2-0 Win.  The weather provided less than ideal conditions, soaking the Kiggins Bowl turf and leaving puddles for players and the ball to navigate through.  The end result was a strong finish for the lady wolves, and a rewarding trip home, their road home to a State appearance.

Quoting the Columbian: "Eastlake 2, Skyview 0 — The visitors from Sammamish scored once in each half and shut down the Storm’s quick forward to earn a spot in the 16-team Class 4A state tournament.

Kelly Moro converted off an Allie Beahan assist in the 24th minute for Eastlake. In the 23rd minute of the second half, Beahan scored with an assist from Lindsay Elston to pad the Wolves’ lead."

The wolves move on as KingCo 2nd seed to the Sweet Sixteen Round of the State Tournament to play Kentwood on their home field Tuesday night.    Congratulations Girls!

Come out and support the wolves as they attempt to move to State Quarterfinals.

GO WOLVES!!!

Wolves Win Final District Game - on to Bi-District Playoffs!

Rd2

The Wolves wrapped up 3rd place in the KingCo League Tournament with a goal in the 2nd overtime period with one minute remaining Tuesday night over 4th place Woodinville.

Quoting Sammamish Review:  "Eastlake soccer goes to playoffs"  - Sammamish Review

"Eastlake senior forward Allie Beahan scored the game-winner in double-overtime Nov. 3 at Issaquah Stadium to beat the Woodinville Falcons. The 3-2 win earned Eastlake the third-place spot for KingCo 4A playoffs.  The goal came after Beahan took the ball on a clear from Kelly Morro. Beahan turned, dribbled past some Woodinville defenders and lofted the ball just over the Woodinville goalie’s head."

Quoting Sammamish Reporter:

"Eastlake moves on

Eastlake kept its hopes for a state-tournament run alive Tuesday night, beating Woodinville 3-2. Allie Beahan scored 1:06 remaining in the second overtime. Pushing the ball to the right side of the feild, Beahan let loose on a shot from 15-yards out and booted it into the left upper corner.

The Wolves also received a goal from Abby Frenkel, and an own-goal from Woodinville. Eastlake will travel to face the Greater St. Helens No. 1 at 2 p.m., Saturday in a winner-to-state, loser-out game."

Next Up: Saturday, November 7th @ 2:00pm - Bi District Playoff Game vs. GSHL #1 Seed - (Winner of Battle Ground vs Skyview) which takes place Thursday night in Vancouver, WA. The Winner of this game will advance to the State Tournament as #2 Seed, with loser out.
