Welcome to the Eastlake Youth Football League website. Our mission is to provide the children and families of our community with the best youth football program in Northeast Ohio. Come out and be part of the excitement. You won't be disappointed!!

We are a member of the Great Lakes Youth Football League which is comprised of the following 9 community youth football programs. Eastlake, Willowick, Willoughby, Willoughby Hills, Mayfield, Riverside, Fairport, Chardon, and Kirtland. For more information, visit the GLYFL website using the link in the main menu.

With tough economic times facing everyone, the EYFL will continue to offer a quality youth football program at an affordable price.  No mandatory candy sale, lottery tickets, etc. With successful fundraising throughout the years, we've been able to maintain the one of the lowest registration fees ($50) anywhere in Northeast Ohio.  Youth Football is a very expensive sport to sustain, but we will continue to be financially responsible and provide all the families of the Eastlake Youth Football League with an enjoyable yet affordable experience. Here are some examples of the registration fees of our competing cities: Mayfield $150, Chardon $150, Riverside $150, Kirtland $100, Willoughby Hills $100, Willoughby $70.

Sign-ups for the 2009 season have ended. If you're still interested in registering your child, please contact Jim or Kim at 440-975-0890. Openings are as follows:

C Division (must turn 7 years old by Nov 1st) -  Full 

B Division (8 or 9 years old on or before June 1st) - Full

A Division (10 or 11 years old on or before June 1st) - 3 Openings

If no openings are available, we will place your child on a waiting list. If someone quits, we will draw from the waiting list on a first come first serve basis.

Camp Registration has ended. The camp is now full.

The annual EYFL Night at the Races will take place on Saturday, February 20th, 2010 from 6:00pm-12:00am at the Normandy Party Center in Wickliffe. Tickets are $25 per person and include a family style dinner and open bar. For $15, you can also purchase a horse to run in one of our 10 races. If your horse wins, you win $50. Once again, there will be a Chinese auction, a booze table raffle, a big screen TV sideboard, cash sideboards and of course plenty of horse racing action. This is the largest fundraiser of the year for Eastlake Youth Football so come out and join us for a great time. Hope to see you there! Contact your coach or Jim or Kim DiFrancesco in the fall for tickets or additional information. This event will be limited to the first 400 people.

Once again, Eastlake is the cream of the crop in the Great Lakes Youth Football League. For the third straight season, a trophy comes home to Eastlake as Army knocks off the Chardon Oilers by a score of 20-8 to win the Great Lakes Youth Football League "A" Division championship. Army opened the scoring in the second quarter with Nick Schoval taking a screen pass 70 yards for a 6-0 lead. On Chardon's next possession, Eric Elias picked off a pass to set up Josh Kozel's one yard TD run. The Chardon Oilers opened the second half with with a long drive and cut the score to 13-8. But that's as close as they would get. Early in the fourth quarter, Army pulled away as Nick Schoval busted loose on a pitch play and powered 30 yards for his second TD of the day and a 20-8 victory for Army. Army finishes the season a perfect 9-0.  Army is Nick Schoval, Ryan Rowland, Jimmy DiFrancesco, Josh Kozel, Antonio Trivisonno, Marcus Salibellas, Tyler Southard, Bryan Cruz, Chris Sakenes, Cole Daubenmire, Austin Wretchsko, Adam Sabo, Tyler Cochrac, Ryan Sukys, Andrew Kuhn, Eric Elias, Matt Lombardo, Nick Baka, Owen Schaffer, Jack Cook and Andy Henderson. Army coaches are Head Coach and defensive cooridinator Mario Federico, offensive coordinator Jim DiFrancesco, line coach Rob (I'm watching you) Trivisonno, assistant coach Rick Baka and team mom Kim DiFrancesco.
