Eastlake Little League: Board of Directors

Board Meetings: Typically held the first Thursday of each month at Eastlake High School, Room D-123 (see calendar for details and/or changes). The primary purpose of the monthly meeting is to conduct all business necessary to operate the League. These monthly meetings are open to the membership, however only members of the Board of Directors may make motions and vote.
Annual Meeting: of the Regular Members of Eastlake Little League (which includes any person who has a child enrolled in the League and/or any person sincerely interested in active participation to affect the objective of this League) will be held on the first Thursday in June of each year (location and time to be announced prior to meeting) for the purpose of electing new Members, electing the Board of Directors, receiving reports, appointing committees, and for the transaction of such business as may properly come before the meeting. The Members determine the number of Directors to be elected for the ensuing year and will elect such number of Directors. The number of directors shall be not less than six (6), nor more than fifteen (15). After the Board of Directors is elected, and upon adjournment of the Annual Meeting, the newly elected Board will conduct a subsequent meeting to elect its officers.

Responsible for the conduct of Eastlake Little League in strict conformity to the policies, principles, rules, and regulations of Little League Baseball. Investigates complaints, irregularities, and conditions detrimental to Eastlake Little League. |

|
Responsible for recording the activities of the Local League and maintaining appropriate files, mail lists, and necessary records. |

Bill Carper
|
Receives and records all monies and securities; deposits the same in a depository. Makes payments for budgeted disbursements. Prepares annual budget and annual financial reports. |

Mo Luqman
|
Serves as the contact person for all AAA, Coast, and Majors managers and coaches. Coordinates fields and schedules for teams within their respective divisions. Investigates complaints, irregularities, and conditions detrimental to AAA, Coast, and Majors. |

Serves as the contact person for all T-ball, A, and AA managers and coaches. Coordinates fields and schedules for teams within their respective divisions. Investigates complaints, irregularities, and conditions detrimental to T-ball, A, and AA. |

Steve Pollis
|
Serves as the contact person for all softball managers and coaches. Coordinates fields practice/game schedules for teams within their respective divisions. Manages tournaments and interlock with District 9 leagues. Directs capital improvement projects. Responsible for field care and maintenance training for EHS facilities. Investigates complaints, irregularities, and conditions detrimental to all softball. |

Pat Ostrander
|
Serves as the contact person for all AAA, Coast, and Majors parents regarding player registrations, including residence and age eligibility. Conducts the player draft and all other player transactions or selection meetings. Coordinates All-Star teams formation. |

Serves as the contact person for all T-ball, A, and AA parents regarding player registrations, including residence and age eligibility. Coordinates T-ball, A, and AA teams formation. |

Joanne Luqman
|
Serves as the contact person for all softball parents regarding player registrations, including residence and age eligibility. Conducts the player draft and all other player transactions or selection meetings. Coordinates All-Star team formations. |

Pam Stuart
|
Responsible for ensuring all umpires are properly trained and work together to promote strict conformity to the policies, principles, rules, and regulations of ELL & Little League Baseball. Coordinates and schedules all league umpiring assignments. |

Roger Nelson
|
Responsible for implementing plan for increasing safety of activities, equipment and facilities through education, compliance and reporting. Performs background security checks and facilitates insurance claims. |

Perry Gomez
|
Responsible for ensuring proper turf and in-field maintenance of all home baseball fields. Oversees field equipment (i.e. portable fencing, field prep materials, etc.). Prepares and monitors the field maintenance budget. |

Joseph Johnson, II
|
Responsible for the acquisition of goods (materials, parts, supplies, equipment) required to run the Eastlake Little League baseball organization. Serves as the contact person for baseball regarding the disbursement and collection of non-consumable equipment. |

Mike Armbruester
|
Responsible for the acquisition of goods (materials, parts, supplies, equipment) required to run the Eastlake Little League softball organization. Serves as the contact person for softball regarding the disbursement and collection of non-consumable equipment. |

Kirk Hansell
|
Serve as the contact person for the league's manager-coach education program. Develops, coordinates and provides manager training. Orders and distributes training materials to players, coaches and managers. Coordinates mini-clinics as necessary. |

Manage the Local League's official website. Ensure that Local League news and scores are updated on a regular basis. |
