Eastfield United Arsenal Team Rules
EASTFIELD UNITED SOCCER CLUB
TEAM RULES
- Be on time for practices and games. 5-10 minutes before practice and 20-30 minutes before games.
- Be ready to play when practice or games begin. You should not be putting your gear on once practice has started.
- NO PRACTICE, NO PLAY!!!!!
- Playing time and positions are not guaranteed. There may be times that players do not play much in a game or may play in positions they do not like. Whatever the coaches feel is best for the team is what will be done.
- Be courteous and respectful to your teammates and coaches.
- Be respectful to the other team and to officials.
- No horseplay or goofing off during practice.
- Uniforms should be worn only for games. Your extra shirt should also be brought to each game.
- Player dues ($20 per month, August to May) must be paid in a timely manner. (by the 16th of each month) If dues are not paid, the player can / will be suspended until they are caught up. If dues are not paid for more than 3 months the player’s spot can / will be lost on the team.
- Each player / parent is required to participate in team fundraisers. This is how we pay our bills. If you do not wish to participate you can write a check for the amount it costs as determined by the coach for the player to play.
- Every game and practice will end with a 5 – 10 minute review that all players must attend. Parents are also encouraged to attend since important information is normally given out at this time.
- Your commitment to the team is very important. I understand that some may play rec. soccer, baseball, etc., but it is important that the team comes first. This is a different level of play than that of rec. ball and the commitment is necessary. Remember that you are not only making a commitment to the club, most of all you are all making a commitment to your teammates.
- Be sure to bring all required gear to practice. Spikes, shin guards, ball, etc. If you do not have it, you will not practice.
- All players must carry their own bags and balls. This is not Mom & Dads job. They are your responsibility!
- Your ball is your responsibility. Treat it as a part of your family. Own the ball and you will own the game.
- Practice is not enough time for you to master the skills we go over. In order to progress into a premier team level, you must do some work on your own. You will only be as good as the effort and time you put into the game.
- Remember to focus all the time and most of all have fun!!!!!!!!!!
