Please register ASAP, tell your friends and join in the fun. (8/28/2009) Varsity will practice at the same scheduled time but practice will take place in the gym at St. Bede. Please wear your helmet, shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes. Practice may run just a bit late this eveing for the Varsity. The Junior Varsity and Developmentaol will not practice this evening. Practice will resume for them this Monday. (8/21/2009) Practice tonight for the Varsity has been cancelled. Practice for the JV and Developmental will continue as scheduled. (8/10/2009) Tonight is the first practice for the Varsity. Practice will be at Sterrett Middle School for this week only. Next week, all teams will begin to practice at Allderdice High School field. (6/2/2009) An informational meeting will be held on June 9, 2009 at 7pm at St. Bede cafeteria in Point Breeze for students in grades 4-8 who attend a Catholic grade school who are interested and/or planning on playing football this fall for the East End Crusaders.

Crusader Football Game Day Helper Schedule
Please sign up for 2 games and return your preferences this week so a schedule can be published—either return the form to practice or email me- jat@camlev.com . I will make all efforts to accommodate your requests. If you cannot fulfill the time slot assigned, please make arrangements with another parent to cover the time to avoid problems and email ward105@comcast.net 48 hours before the game with the replacement’s name so she can adjust the master schedule. Approximately 25 people are required for each home game. The home games provide an average of $1,000 to the Crusaders!
Set-Up — Truck is helpful. Two hours before Developmental game @ Central Catholic.; set up tent area @ Central; unload boxes & set up tent; start charcoal grill. Ice — Deliver 100lbs ice to Central 90 minutes prior to the start of the Developmental Game Admissions – 90 minutes before first game, until start of third game. Requires 3 people — 1 for collecting Admission & 2 for selling 50/50. Grill Master — Beginning 30 minutes prior to the Developmental game and continuing in shifts of 90 minutes grilling hotdogs and various other kinds of meat.Concession – 4 people at all times beginning 90 minutes before the first game until 30 minutes after last game. “Shifts” can change as games change. Clean Up — Truck is helpful. After game — return everything that Set-Up brought to Rosemary St. Friday, August 21
