The East County Hot Shots and Debbie Nelson hosted our All American Softball Clinic this Spring. Nearly 80 young athletes came to learn from one of the best in the business, Debbie Nelson. As a college player, Nelson achieved All Region, All State, and NCAA All American honors at Sacramento State University. With over 18 years of coaching experience, Debbie has helped produce talented and top ranked teams at the college level with Sacramento State University and the San Jose State Spartans.

It was a fun-filled afternoon where athletes had the opportunity to improve skills in areas of their game including hitting, throwing, fiedling, baserunning, and much more! Coach Debbie even gave a motivational speech to players about realizing their dreams of competing at the highest levels of softball.   

The East County Hot Shots teamed up once again with Debbie Nelson and All American Sports Academy for the 2009 Winter Warm-Up Softball  Extravagaza! This Winter players had the opportunity to interact and learn from some of the area's most experienced and knowledgeable softball players including professional trainers, collegiate coaches and athletes, plus experienced coaches with the American Softball Association.

Stephanie Ramos- University California Los Angeles, NCAA National Championship, ASA 18 Gold National Championship, ASA 18 Gold Head Coach for All American Sports Academy.   
Vicky Rios- California State University, Northridge, NCAA National Championship, NCAA Defensive Player of the Year, 11 year college level coach.
Melissa Wooldridge- California State University, Bakersfield, CCC All Conference, CCAA Conference Championship, NCAA Regional Tournament MVP.
Stacey DelChiaro- Grand Valley State University in Michigan, training with All American Sports Academy since 12, trainer and assistant coach for 14U Hot Shots.
