2012 Fall Season

The Hot Shots 14U Halter team took First Place at the DF Softball Autumn Ambush tournament which was played in Pittsburg, CA. on September 15 - 16, 2012.  The girls played outstanding all weekend long and took the Gold Bracket 1st Place championship.

The Hot Shots 12U Carter team steamrolled the competition and took 1st Place in the Gold Bracket at the Autumn Ambush tournament located in Martinez, CA. on September 15 - 16, 2012.  The team played some outstanding softball all weekend long thanks to lights out pitching by Bri Edwards.  After going 2 wins one tie game in pool play, they came into Sunday as the #2 seed and dominated in all three of their Sunday games winning the championship over the KG Hitters 01 team.

2012 Spring/Summer Season

The Hot Shots 10U Ferreira team took 2nd Place Runner-Up at the USSSA Last Chance @ Big League Dreams Tournament that took place on June 23 - 24, 2012 at the Big League Dreams complex in Manteca, CA.  The girls started out slowly on Saturday going 1 win 2 losses in Pool Play but kicked it into high gear on Sunday beating the #1 seeded San Lorenzo Heat and AGBYSL Sting and making it into the championship game versus TABU.  Both teams featured outstanding pitching and defense and the game went all 7 innings with TABU edgeing out the Hot Shots 5 - 3.  The 10U Ferreira team had a very nice month of June playing in three tournaments this month making the championship game in two of them.  The team played some great softball throughout the month and ls ready to end out the last couple tournament of the season strong.

The Hot Shots 12U Carter (2000) team takes 2nd Place runner-up at the NSA Vacaville Summer Shootout in Vacaville, CA. on June 23-24, 2012.  The girls played four pool games on Saturday going 3 wins and 1 loss and then battled their way into the championship game with some outstanding pitching and defense.  They came up just a little short of the championship losing to a tough Elk Grove Thunder-99 team in the championship game.  The girls played great all weekend long.

The Hot Shots 14U Halter team takes 2nd Place at the Battle of the Bats Tournament on April 14-15, 2012 in Sacramento.  The girls played great ball all weekend long.

The Hot Shots 10U Ferreira team takes 1st in their bracket at the Mardi Gras Madness Tournament on March 31st – April 1st, 2012 in Modesto, CA.  Overcoming adverse weather conditions throughout the tournament, the girls dominated play on Sunday winning all three of their games and bringing home the trophy.
