Training Facilities and Fields

The NorCal Hot Shots are pleased to offer our teams with the use of our new indoor training facility located in Antioch, CA.  This new facility is double the size of the previous Academy with over 4,000 square feet of training space.  This facility offers two fully enclosed batting cage stations, a double lane regulation distance pitching/catching station, an enclosed soft toss/tee work intructional hitting cage and an open area for team conditioning.  The facility also provides ample space for defensive skills training.

Our batting cages are equipped with JUGS softball pitching machines that easily adjust to every player's individual need to help master different speeds and locations. The Academy also features a large variety of training equipment including hitting tees, safety screens and a variety of balls, from regulation softballs for live pitching to wiffle balls and polyurethane foam softballs for drills and exercises.

In addition to the first-class hitting and pitching equipment, the Academy boasts many other features and amenities that makes our player's and parent's experience both rewarding and pleasurable.

The NorCal Hot Shots Academy is located at:

The NorCal Hot Shots are excited about our ongoing agreement with the city of Oakley to have use of Magnolia Park, which is located at 5301 Daffodil Drive in Oakley.  This four acre park is recognized as having one of the greatest softball fields in the area. The beautifully manicured field was designed to have the most modern irrigation system for unparalleled performance.  The parks well-maintained infield surface is made of the finest quality cinder on the market. This provides players the confidence to focus on their training, knowing that the utmost care and consideration was taken for player's safety.

There are also many other amenities at the park for parents and siblings to enjoy while the athletes train. The spacious area is perfect to let the kids play, take the dog for a walk, or sit to enjoy a lunch at one of the covered picnic areas the park has to offer. Additionally there is a large playground for kids to rumble or for the daring, an extreme sports park where BMX and skateboarders alike show off their moves.
