With tryouts completed, the Hot Shots organization will be moving forward into 2012 by fielding an organizational high of 7 competitive softball teams for the 2012 Spring/Summer season. With the holiday season in the rear-view mirror, all of our 10U, 12U and 14U teams are commencing their practice schedules and beginning to prepare the girls for the tournament season. Both of the organizations 16U teams will be starting their practices at the conclusion of the high school softball season in late May or early June.
Since the formation of the Hot Shots over six year ago, the organization has never fielded so many teams. Thanks to an outstanding volunteer base of dedicated Board Members, Coaches and parents, the Hot Shots have been able to maintain stability during these uncertain economic times and thrive. The Hot Shots are the largest competitive girls fastpitch softball organization in East Contra Costa county and look forward to continuing to grow and become stronger.
