Hot Shots 12U Finish Strong in Elk Grove

The Hot Shots 12 and under team competed in the NSA Fall Round Up in Elk Grove. The tournament featured sixteen teams in the open bracket. The team got off to a slow start on Saturday. However the Hot Shots regrouped on Sunday and pulverized their opponents- scoring 25 runs, with a .448 average, and defensively allowing just 4 hits for the entire day!

12U East County Hot Shots Win 2nd

Craig Rose's 12 and under Hot Shot team took second place in the NSA Halloween Tournament at Rainbow Fields in Modesto. The team started off undefeated on Saturday, earning the number one seed in their bracket. On Sunday they drew a first round bye and then had an impressive win to earn a spot in the championship.

14U Hot Shots Win NSA Halloween Bash

After a tough 4-2 loss Saturday morning, the 14U team regrouped then vowed they would not lose another. They won their next two games and finished 2-1 for the day, earning the number two seed and a first round bye. Sunday they showed up with a vengeance showing no mercy; beating their opponents in the semifinals 13-2 and then in the championship 14-7.

Hot Shots 14U Are Rippin' Chicks in Reno

The 14 and under Hot Shots took first place in the IFA Rippin' Chicks in Reno tournament. The team was able to battle back on Sunday, defeating teams that had beaten them the day before. The tournament combined 14U and 16U "A teams" but the Hot Shots were able to overcome the elements and win the championship.

12U Hot Shots Rumble in Reno

The 12 and under Hot Shots team won another championship in the IFA Rippin' Chicks Tournament in Reno, NV. Despite the horrible weather conditions, where the mercury dropped below 30 degrees and at one point was even snowing, the team had some hot bats. The Hot Shots scored 50 runs, hit 6 doubles, three triples, and three homeruns plus had a .391 batting average over the weekend.

12U Hot Shots Off To A Strong Start

The East County Hot Shots 12 and under team took first place in the IFA  Martinez Madness tournament. Despite being the first time the 2009 Fall team played together, the Hot Shots scored 38 runs during the two day tournament. The defense wasn't too shabby either, giving up just 5 runs, including two no hitters!

10U Jones Take Second

The East County Hot Shots 10 and under team finished in Second Place during the IFA Martinez Madness Tournament. The tournament was one of the team's first of the 2009 Fall Season, but they didn't let that stop them. The Hot Shots played well and brought back a new plaque for the trophy case.

14U Hot Shots Finish 2nd in the NSA Think Pink Tournament

The East County Hot Shots 14 and under team took second place in their very first tournament. The NSA Think Pink Tournament at Rainbow Fields in Modesto brought some tough competition. However the Hot Shots played great softball and the team finished the weekend 5-1 to bring home a trophy.
