UPDATE: BRAVES SCHEDULE THRU 12 JULY
As of 10:30PM on Thursday, 9 July, the Braves' schedule over the next several days is as follows:

USSSA ELITE 32 WORLD SERIES UPDATE
Please see below for pertinent details regarding the USSSA Elite 32 World Series …
- Check-in: All families should plan to arrive in Orlando on Saturday, July 11. Check-in time at Legacy Dunes is 4:00PM, so please plan your travels accordingly. There are no scheduled activities for players or parents on Saturday; however, see #2 below for our early Sunday morning wakeup call !!!
- Opening Ceremonies: We will assemble in full uniform as a team on Sunday morning, July 12, at 7:00AM on Field 27 at Disney’s Wide World of Sports. The Parade of Athletes and Opening Ceremonies will begin at 8:00AM on Sunday morning in Disney’s Wide World of Sports Stadium.
- Pool Games: Elite World Series pool games will TENTATIVELY begin on Sunday, July 12, at 11:00AM. We will not get our pool game schedule until Saturday afternoon at the Coaches Meeting, but we know that we will play three pool games prior to being seeding into four 8-team double elimination brackets.
- Disney’s Wide World of Sports Waivers: ALL PLAYERS and COACHES must print, complete, and sign the Disney’s Wide World of Sports Waiver Form (sent via email). Tom Kehner will collect these forms next week at one of our Tune-Up games (either Monday or Thursday). For anyone who will be out of town next week, please complete the form ASAP and mail it to: Tom Kehner, 2801 Cranmore Court, Marietta, GA 30066.
- Spectator Admission: Tickets for admission to the Elite 32 World Series can only be purchased at the box office at Disney’s Wide World of Sports. The cost is as follows: Adults: Length of Event $51.00; Daily $12.75. Children Ages 3-9: Length of Event $40.00; Daily $10.00
- Disney’s Wide World of Sports Policies:
- Coolers: Individual 1 gallon cooler per player and a team 5 gallon cooler are permitted. However, alcoholic beverages and glass containers are NOT permitted.
- Tents: Tents are allowed but cannot be staked into the ground. There are covered bleachers for spectator seating.
- Practice Fields: There are no practice fields available at Disney’s Wide World of Sports. If the grass areas of the parking lot at the Wide World of Sports are available, teams may warm up there.
- Elite Commemorative Program: Will be available for purchase at Disney’s Wide World of Sports
ACTION REQUIRED: Please print, complete, and sign the WAIVER form. Then, bring the completed form (one form per player and one form per coach) to our game next Monday or Thursday.
