2008 All Star Applications are available HERE

Summer Baseball:
Once again North Boise Little League will be hosting Summer Baseball. Summer Baseball seems to be growing each year and is a great opportunity for kids to play more baseball. Any league can have the option of forming their own team to interleague with us or to have your players register with us and we will assemble the teams. Most of the games will be at Riverglen and Hillside fields.
This is a baseball only  league age 8 to 14 year olds.  This year's league age 13s and 14s will play in the Juniors division, and this year's league age 8s through 12s will play in the 9 to 12 year old division.  For league age 8s, this would be for those who played minors as 8-year olds this 2008 season, or those league age 8 Rookie players who feel they are ready for the next step up to a player-pitch league and LL regulation size 60' diamond.

Announcements

Unlike other youth sports programs with which you may be familiar, Little League is an entirely volunteer operation.  There is no paid staff at the local league, district, or state level.  So please keep that in mind, and remember that it emphasizes the importance and need for each of you to help in whatever way you can with your child’s own team, and with the league too.  Your child’s baseball or softball experience is only as good as all of us collectively contributing our efforts will make it.  If you contact one of us and it takes a little while to get back to you, this may help explain why.  Also, if you do contact us, remember that we are serving almost 400 youth this year, and the more information you can provide about your child or questions (such as age of child, name, league division, etc.), the sooner we will be able to address your question. I look forward to seeing you at Field Day and Opening Day.

Please let me or any Board member know if you have any questions or need more information.  And be sure to let us know how you will be helping with our East Boise Little League this year.  We need everyone to pitch in to make it a success and keep it going.  You can find a list of league Board Members at our website at www.eastboiselittleleague.org.  There’s plenty of room for you to join that list too; please ask me how.
Thanks.

Sincerely,

Murray Feldman
