Why We Are Here
We love soccer (even the parents are having fun!) Our challenge is to develop each of the talented girls who join us into the best soccer player they can be, both individually and as members of the team.
Here’s how we do that:
- Surround ourselves with believers; coaches, players and parents who believe in the goal and the plan for getting there.
- Teach the girls how to win at the highest level. The players must learn the level of physical and mental effort necessary to make winning possible. We focus on the players’ responsibilities; the quality and intensity of their performances. We work, not just to win, but to develop winning attitudes and winning performances.
- Pursue achievable short-range goals. We constantly set and reset the bar for both individual players and the team to jump over.
- Extend the players comfort zones. We push their limits, through fitness, competitive competition, demanding high levels of performance in practice, playing hard under any conditions and learning to never quit.
- Play tough competition. It keeps us challenged to be our best and forces us to grow. We will continue to seek out the best teams to play.
Where We Are Going
We know from the high level of play on the pitch, we continue to make great progress. The core group of players have played together 8 years. They believe in one another. All have winning attitudes. Several have become wicked soccer players. They are unselfish and play very well together. The current team goal is to win a third Ohio South State Cup Championship and go back to Regionals.
