Monday, August 24 2009-2010 Tryout Schedule - - UPDATED (8/24/09)
Girls (Saturday and Sunday, September 12th and 13th): General Information on Tryouts 1) Tryouts will consist of two separate sessions. Players will be independently evaluated by using drills, such as layups, dribbling, and shooting. In addition, players will participate in 5 on 5 scrimmages, with continually rotating teammates and opponents. 2) Each player must attend all tryout sessions for his/her age group. Any deviation from this requirement must be approved by the ETB Directors Gregg or Beth Koenig in advance. Players are expected to alter their schedules to attend tryouts. Injured players should also notify Gregg or Beth Koenig in advance and should attend each tryout session as an observer. 3) Players should wear a t-shirt with a white background each day of tryouts. Clothing must not have names or logos from any basketball team or camp in which they have participated. For example, an "And One" shirt is fine; a "Trent Tucker Camp" or "MDB" shirt is not. Do not bring balls to tryouts. 4) Players will be issued a jersey for tryouts at the first session and are responsible for bringing this jersey to each subsequent tryout session. 5) Players are encouraged to bring a water bottle - no sports drinks. 6) Parents are welcome to watch tryouts from a designated space in the gyms. Once tryouts have begun there should be no communication between parent and child. 7) You will be notified by phone whether or not your child has made a team. Calls can be expected within 24 hours of the last tryout session. 8) Players who do not make a team will receive a full refund. These players are encouraged to sign-up for the Eagan In-House Basketball program (5th and 6th Graders). Your refund is not automatically applied to your In-House fee. 9) For players that make a team, no other refunds will be issued once tryouts are complete.
