Eagan Traveling Basketball is currently accepting registrations for the 2008-09 basketball season.  Due to lower registration numbers in 5th Grade this year, we are opening up registration to 4th Graders for the first time for those 4th Graders interested in trying out for Traveling Basketball.  If you are serious about basketball, you will find that traveling basketball may be for you.  To register, click on the heading to jump to the EAA website and the online registration system.

4th Graders that register will be trying out and playing with 5th Graders.  The season begins with practices in early October, and tournaments typically start in November.  Practices are twice per week (different nights throughout the week), and teams will play 8 tournaments between November and the end of the season in late February/early March.

If we do have to make cuts at 5th Grade, 4th Graders would be cut first, before any 5th Grade cuts would be made.  Currently, we can add 8 boys and 6 girls to the 4th/5th Grade tryout pool before any cuts would be made.

The registration fee for this year is $255.  However, after July 15th, an additional late fee of $50 will be assessed for all registrations received after that date until registration closes this year on August 31, 2008.

We have already begun the process of booking teams into tournaments for the upcoming season, so this registration period helps us make decisions on the number of teams to form.

Again - - - register by July 15th to avoid the $50 late fee, and by August 31st to participate in tryouts this September.

Registration for the 20th Annual Eagan Tournament is now open.  The tournament will be help at various sites in Eagan on November 7-9, 2008.
