14U Minnesota Stars Tryouts
Tuesday, August 4th: 6:00 - 8:30 pm
* Station tryouts at the Eagan High School Varsity Softball Field
Thursday, August 6th: 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the Eagan High School Varsity Softball Field
* 5:00 - 6:00 pm: Station tryouts for players that can't attend the August 4th session
* 6:00 - 8:00 pm: Scrimmage

The 14U Stars are coming off an excellent season.
-14U Elite State Champs
-13th place at the USSSA National tournament
-2nd place at the Eagan down n dirty
-1st place at Lakeville and Rookies Harding tourney
-4th place at the Ringneck tourney
-4th place at the ASA National qualifier

* You don't need to attend both tryout dates, but we highly encourage attending both sessions so the coaches and evaluators can see you play more.
* Players born in 1995 or very skilled players born in 1996.
* The Stars are looking for talented, "A" level players to add to their already strong line-up. We're looking for players who display a positive attitude and are looking to take their game to a higher level. Players who are very good hitters, fielders and fast runners are highly desired, but dedication, drive and hard work to make yourself an exceptional player and commitment to your teammates, practices and games will also be viewed as valuable assets.
* The Stars will play the 2009 fall season as well as a competitive 2010 season with one or two out-of-state tournaments. We also offer indoor training during some winter months.
* MN Stars are supported by the Eagan Fastpitch community. We practice and play all home games in Eagan.
* There is no charge to tryout and no need to pre-register. Just show up to the Eagan High Varsity Softball Field with your equipment and a great attitude!

16U Minnesota Stars Tryouts

* There is no charge to tryout and no need to pre-register. Just show up to the Eagan High Varsity Softball Field with your equipment and a great attitude!
The MN Stars 16U team is looking to add several players to its already strong team for 2010.
The Stars are completing a successful season in which they had 3 top 4 finishes (including 2 runner ups) a strong showing in the Ringneck tourney, and are currently going to AFA "A" Nationals in Rochelle Illinois.
The Stars have a very close knit, team oriented group of very committed girls. We place a very high emphasis on obtaining high quality, academically strong, coachable girls who want to improve as players as well as be part of a highly competitive team.
TEAM CHEMISTRY IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO THIS TEAM.
We will have many openings including (but not limited to) a strong Pitcher. Please note this team will ONLY carry and use 3 pitchers. We are also looking for excellent left side of the infield fielders as well as a catcher. We are also looking for strong hitters, including middle of the order caliber hitters.
We have roster flexibility to take on most any position if it is someone who is a very strong hitter.
We prefer 1993 DOB girls but will consider anyone who is 16 eligible.
We will likely not be playing fall ball, but will instead conduct instructional clinics as we prepare for the first session dome ball in Rosemount.
We will play in the Elite League next summer, 3 high level local tournaments in June and the Ringneck and Elite State Tourney in July. We will also attend a National.
