We had a great summer and fall softball season at all levels.   You can still practice all of your skills at the Rosemount Dome this winter.  All girls who played fastpitch this past year or girls who may be interested in fastpitch next spring are welcome.  We are  always looking for pitchers and catchers at the younger levels.

Eagan fastpitch will be offering a pitching and catching clinic this winter for those that are interested.  The clinics will be held Fridays during our normal dome sessions.  EFP will cover half the cost of the clinics with parents needing to cover the other half.  There is limited availability so please let Tracy know at talachenmayer@comcast.net if you are interested in attending the clinics. 

Pitching Clinic

Instructor: Michelle Harrison

Dates:  November 6,13,20

             December 4 and 11

             January 8,15,22

Times: 5:30pm - 6:15pm  10U players

             6:15pm - 7:00pm  12U players

Cost per player:  $60.00

Pitchers need to bring someone to catch for them.

This clinic is a great opportunity for league only players that are interested in pitching but have not been taught the proper technique.  Plus it's great practice during the offseason.

Catching Clinic

Instructor:  Eagan High School Varsity Catcher Kelly Wood

Dates:  November 6,13,20

             December 4 and 11

             January 8,15,22

Times: 5:30pm - 6:15pm  10U players

             6:15pm - 7:00pm  12U/14U players

Cost per player: $50.00

Equipment will be provided if you don't have your own.

EAGAN FASTPITCH RECEIVES GRANT FROM THE MN TWINS!

Eagan Fastpitch would like to extend our thanks to the Minnesota Twins for awarding our association a $4130.00 grant from the Fields for Kids program to make some of the much needed improvements to the JV field. Patty Blanchette - Treasurer - spent a great deal of time getting bids and filling out the grant request forms for this project. Without her they would not have received this generous grant from the Twins. The Fields for Kids program provides financial support to renovate the condition of youth baseball and softball facilities. Since its inception in 1999, the program has granted more than $1.3 million to help renovate 372 Upper Midwest, Southwest Florida and Latin America ball fields. Eagan was only one of 21 organizations to receive a grant under this program so we would like to offer one more THANK YOU to the Twins.
