On April 25, 2003 your team will invade Freeport G.B. to take on the Freeport Allstars who have been training very hard since they heard we were coming. We have been travelling to Freeport since 1999 and have been going there every two years. Our past trips have been full of excitement on and off the field. In the past we have been hosted by Terry Goldsmith and the YMCA squad, but this year we will be hosted by Mark Hardy and the GBFL.
We are going down memory lane as you take a look at some of the photo in this story.
The group shot shows our under 17 boys who made the trip. Unfortunately they are not travelling this year. Also five of the squad are away in university furthering their education.
The second shot shows C.J. DISCUSSING A GOAL HE THOUGHT HE SHOULD HAVE HAD..
The next shot is of Paul Wallace Whitfield, past GBFL President making us feel at home by cooking up some bbq burgers and steaks
and the final shot shows tough Dynamos defence as C.J. and Steffan Brown locks down this YMCA player.

Freeport Tour 2003, Freeport Grand Bahama
This year's trip started off like a dream come true as we got into Freeport on time and we got to our hotel accommodations. Everyone from players , coaches and family members who travelled with the team was excited. After we checked in it was off to the Red Snapper and our host Mr. Chris Rolle and staff who catered to our every need. The team dinner was a success and all were ready for bed. Lights out was at 10.30pm but as we have experienced in the past there were some who were too excited and decided to be annoy others who need their rest.
The whole team awoke on Saturday morning to the sound of thunder and rain which then proceeded to disrupt electricity to the hotel. The rain was so hard and constant that we feared that we would have to leave Freeport without playing. Thankfully the Lord heard our prayers and the rain eased and at 11.30 we trudged off to the Freeport Rugby pitch for our showdown.
First up was the 11-under team coached by Bob Miller and Ednel Rolle. Our young players made up of few 11 year olds and 9and 8 year olds put up a proud fight which saw them go down in defeat to an older Freeport Squad. We got our lone goal from Ryan Johnson and the final tally was 4-1. Again we are very proud of these youngsters. The squad fro the trip was led by Ryan Johnson, Kimberly Johnson, Corey Brown, Taneka Sandiford, Kristin Davies, Lecartus and Cassius Clark, Aston Role, Brian Kelp, A.D. Cartwright, Jeremy Russell, Drew Rigby, Lanthro Munroe and Shaquille Hanna. Keep working hard guys and we will be winners next time!...
The second match saw a very well played match of entertaining football as the 13-under players put on a show of their skills. We implemented a new formation for this trip and these players worked the game like professionals. Your Dynamos team moved the ball from end to end in quick two touch fashion keeping the pressure on Freeport for most of the game. At the half we were leading 2-0 and had the game won. But soccer is played for 90 mins. At the end we allowed the to come back and walk off with a draw 3-3. For them it was a huge victory for us a crushing defeat. While we played entertaining soccer our defence and fitness was suspect and this caught up with us at the end. Man of this match was Noel Henderson as he scored a hatrick and wore out their defence. THe engine which powered was provided by Ehren Hanna as he displayed his ability to direct a high powered and creative attack. He got excellent support from Mikhail Mcclain and Terrell Sandiford. Tereko Lewis and Raymius Johnson provided a steady supply of ball to the forwards from their mid field position. The defence was anchored by Adam Miller who had a fantastic and smart game in Sweeper. He saved us numerours with his strong play as he closed the door on a number of Freeport attacks. Steady play from Stephan Brown and Queswell Ferguson helped shore up the defence. We also might have discovered a left foot left back in Alzarrio Rolle as he certainly earned the position coming off the benc to replace Brinaj Rolle. He will have to work hard to keep his sport but he says he he is ready. MAx GLinton gave his best as the starting stopper but had to be replaced by the middle of the first . Finally in Goal Travaughn proved that he wants the position as he made some key saves in the game. More work from him and some specialized training will make him a better keeper in the future.

Speed kills as the saying goes and we surely had a lot of it. Your Dynamos squad totally outclassed the opposition as they took it to Freeport. The final score 5-1. Ebo Ebong got the ball rolling with the first goal as he out muscled the defender and shook him and scored on a breakaway. Then the attack itensified. Like the shelling in Iraq, it was relentless and soon enough we got two goals from Rashad Clarke, one from Demetrius Scaella and another from Jarrell Hall. Our attackers were so hungry they threww away at least 4 goals as they tried to take the ball off their own team mates. This is an area we have to work on. FReeport tried to penetrate our defence but Jamal Grant and Stefano Bowe had them in handcuffs. They tried to test the edges but Andreas Schmid and Cameron Saunders did a splendid job in thwarting their attempts. Paul Tomlinson and Lawrence Rigby Along with Ebo ran the midfield. In goal Shari Clarke had a brief lapse on a break away which resulted in a score. But on the day It was a beautiful game to watch. How beautiful? Ashley Strachan came off the bench and gave Freeport fits with his non stop pursuit of the ball. He did well and earned extra minutes. So hats off for a wonderful trip and we all proud of our team in the way they handled themselves.....
We also want to say thanks to our supportes who went along, Mrs Helen Ebong, Amelia and Lindsey Peterson, Anastacia and Cassidy Clarke, Juan Sandiford, Alonza Rolle, Denise Johnson and Sharlene Hanna along with Mrs Lewis......
