Welcome to the Dynamite Fastpitch Girls Softball Website!!!

 

The Dynamite Fastpitch girls softball, is 14U & 16U teams made up of girls from the Downriver Community and was created to advance the softball skills for the girls from the Downriver area.

The goal of our team is;

- to develop and improve softball skills.

- to build self esteem, discipline and leadership.

- to prepare athletes for school competition and beyond.

- to WIN!

The Dynamite Fastpitch team plans to be playing in the Western Wayne County League in addition to weekend tournaments.

OUR  16U COACH

 Chris Crute – Manager/Head Coach

Coach Chris has been a coach in the city of Southgate for nearly 10 years. He was a coach/head coach for his son’s baseball team for eight seasons (2002 – 2009). During that time he was also a board member of the Southgate Baseball Association for 4 years. In 2008 he had the honor of being the head coach for the city of Southgate’s tournament All Star team, competing in area tournaments. He coached soccer for the city of Southgate for 4 years (2005 – 2008) and has been a coach/head coach for his daughter’s softball team in Southgate, for 4 seasons (2006 – 2009), winning the division and taking them to the Championship game in 2008. He was also coach of the All Star team that same year.  During that time he served as a board member for the Southgate Softball Program. He was also the assistant coach to the Gerisch Middle school 7th Grade team in 2009. In 2010 he was the assistant coach for the Riverview Raiders 14U team. This past season (2011) he was the Manager/Head Coach for the Dynamite Fastpitch 14U team that competed in 4 area tournaments and league play, including the USSSA State Tournament in Canton.            

Through hard work and discipline, these girls can be their best and compete in today’s softball world. Ultimately having fun along the way and making lasting memories for years to come. 

Success isn’t something that just happens – success is learned, success is practiced and then it is shared.
