The Delaware Youth Lacrosse Association was established in 1993 to serve the Lacrosse needs of boys and girls in the stateof Delaware.
DYLA has teams developed in the Boy's Division based on age to form U9, U11, U13 and U15 teams. Our Girls Division teams are formed based on grade level. Therefore, we have teams for Girls made up of 3/4 grades, 5/6 grades and 7/8 grade.
DYLA will provide a safe and enjoyable environment for your child to learn the game of Lacrosse. Our coaches will teach skills and rules appropriate for each group and insure playing time for ALL athletes in games and scrimmages. Our coaches have played lacrosse at the high school, collegiate and/or club level.
DYLA try's to attract coaches to our program who possess the same ideals as the organization has established since its inception in 1993.
DYLA depends on the support of parents. We need parents to make sure that their athletes arrive to practice sessions and games on time. Parents are also needed to help with game refreshments -- such as oranges -- be available to carpool to away games, and many other important support functions. If parents are interested in becoming a youth lacrosse coaches or referees contact your local team representative for more information.
All league games will be played on Sunday afternoons, some on Saturday for the Girls Division, beginning in March and conclude at the end of May.
Teams currently making up the Association are:
