Emily is in her sixth season of travel ball and had a breakout season in 2012 for the Fire. She played with the Illinois Outlaws 10U and 12U, Crete Crush 10U and is in her third season with the Fire. Emily brings speed on the base paths, batting second most of the season while becoming a triple threat from the left side of the plate. Her hitting improved dramatically, batting .345, pounding out 49 hits, five doubles, two triples, two inside the park home runs, and 30 RBI (second on the team from the two spot). Emily is an 8th grader at Memorial and will likely attend Marian Catholic. She can play any position, but will see a lot of time again at shortstop and centerfield.
