REGISTRATION NEWS
Registration for the 2008 Fall season has now begun. While the early payment period has expired, the normal League entry fee of $78.00 is in effect for all registrations postmarked by August 14, 2008.
It promises to be a memorable season, and will be a great opportunity for the girls to grow in softball. Remember, registrations postmarked after August 14th must include a late fee of $10.

Play with the Original, the Best!
The DVFP staff has put in a lot of effort over the past seven years to provide an awesome playing experience in Fall softball. So, PLAY WITH THE BEST FALL PROGRAM IN THE VALLEY!
DVFP will plan your game schedule to accommodate your teams needs and will allow friends and neighbors to play together if they request. We have had thousands of girls play with our program over the past eight years, and we have a very high rate of players that return each year. We have a great set of coaches that work tirelessly to help our players learn game fundamentals, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Wednesday, November 7
15u Tournament Complete, Champion Crowned
The 15u Division played their entire tournament in one day on November 10th. DVFP's own veterans, Tony and Pat Lopez, repeated their championship for team Extreme with a tournament win against team 43, the Premier who were led by coah Chavez and Coach Gens. Premier was new to our League this year, and has been seen in a couple of TCS tournaments since their Desert Valley Season.
Saturday, November 17
12u Tournament
The Desert Valley 12u Tournament champion for 2007 was Team 23 coached by Bill Woods. This was the second year for this team in the League. Last year, the team persevered through hard times, winning only two games, but growing along the way. Team 23 defeated Team 24 coached by Rick Phillips in the final game.
Monday, December 3
Blue Devils cap perfect Fall Season
The 10u Blue Devils, team 12 coached by Bill Morgan, capped a perfect Fall season with a win in the championship game over Kirk Lockett's team 13. The Blue Devils showed pitching depth as well as great hitting and fielding fundamentals in their win. The team finished the season with a 12-0 record including their tournament game victories.
Tuesday, September 19
Game Schedule Now Available
The game schedule for the entire season is now available. After the regular season round robin games are completed there will be a season-ending tournament. Check back to this site later in the season for the Tournament schedule to be posted.

Weekly Photos
We will be having a photo contest this season. The best digital photo of Desert Valley Softball action will receive a $25.00 gift certificate, as well as top billing on the DV website! Photos must be submitted via email as a jpg file to desvalley@qwest.net
Pictures must be received by September 30, 2007 in order to be considered.
