Although the unseasonably cool weather did not allow for much splash time, the Lady Travelers were hot coming out of pool play as the undefeated #3 seed. The next two games were among the most exciting in club history. The girls advanced to the semi-finals with a walk-off win over Evanston Express only to fall to the tourney host Slammers by 1 run in extra innings (International Tie-breaker). Congratulations to our girls, families, fans & sponsors! See you next year... Prospect Power, Arlington Heights Hurricanes (Consolation Champion) & others enroute to the Semi-final round at the Northbrook Spartan Tourney. Meet you at the diamond, Coaches Bill, Rich & Scott Today is a sad day for the Chicagoland Sports Community as we mourn the passing of Mr. Bud Hildebrand, owner of Hildebrand Sporting Goods in Broadview, IL for over 50 years. Mr. Hildebrand was 90 years young and is survived by many loving family members and friends.
