The 18U DuPage Diamond Dawgs are part of one of the fastest growing fastpitch softball clubs in Northern Illinois. This year as a Second Year year 16/U team we competed in 8 tournaments and practice games and finished with an overall record of 33-17-2 for the year. We were able to win 2 championship games and finished the season with 2 first places, a fourth place, and 2 fifth place finish's and attended the Colorado Sparkler College exposure Tourney. This coming year as a 1st year 18U team, we hope to meet or beat that record while competing in 7-8 local, regional and national tournaments. We are excited about the upcoming 2009 season because our Dawgs will have high quality returning players from our 2008 16U and 18U squad we will be adding a few strong players who promise to strengthen the Dawgs in key positions on offense and defense. The DuPage Diamond Dawgs will be holding tryouts for our 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U teams.
The Dawgs are a hard working, fun loving competitive "A" level softball organization dedicated to developing our girls softball skills and getting them ready to play at the high school and college levels.
Tryouts will be held at:
Centennial Park
1776 W. Centennial Place
Addison, IL 60101
Centennial Park is located off of Rohlwing Road / Rt. 53 in between Lake St. and Army Trail Rd.
Wednesday, August 12th, 5:30 pm.- 12U & 16U
7:00 pm.- 14U
8:30 pm.- 18U
Saturday, August 15th, 10:00 am.- 14U & 18U
1:00 pm.- 12U & 16U
Please arrive 20 minutes before tryout time to fill out application and stretch.
