2008 Hit-a-Thon Results

Congratulations to all the players who partipated this year in our annual DLL Hit-a-thon fundraiser. Players raised over $8000.00 this year by collecting sponsors. Great job DLL players!

We had three teams this year that had 100% team participation - the Major A's manged by Butch Hobson the AA Rockies managed by Eric Nielsen, and the T-Ball Marlins managed by Brandon Downing. Thank you to the managers for getting your entire team to support the fundraiser!

Most Money Collected this year: 1st place Kevin Silky from the Major Diamondbacks collected $400.00; 2nd place Anthony Downing from the T-Ball Marlins collected $355.00; 3rd place Jordan Ho from the T-Ball Marlins collected $250.00. Congratulations players on your success! All three players received a gift certificate for their hard work.

Longest Hits this year: T-Ball Fernando Lotti of the Angels hit 100 ft; Single A Alex Morrison of the Rockies hit 200 ft; AA Alex Omo of the Rockies hit 200 ft; AAA Anthony Cammissa of the Mariners hit 205 ft; Major Jevohn Cubit of the Tigers hit 260 ft; and Junior Diego Ureta of the 80's Gold hit 260 ft. Great job batters! All winners received tickets to Boomers for their longest hits.
