DTQ Little League FAQs
NEW FOR 2010 - Challenger Baseball: The Challenger Division provides boys and girls with physical or metal disabilities, ages 5 to 18, an opportunity to play baseball regardless of their limitations. Registration fee $40.
What is DTQ Little League? DTQ Little League is a nonprofit baseball & softball league sanctioned by Little League of America. DTQ sponsors co-ed baseball teams from 5 years old (T-Ball) through age 18 (Big League) and Girls’ softball (ages 6-12 yr olds).
What are the age requirements? Must be at least 5 by April 30, 2010 and not older than 18 on April 30, 2010 for BASEBALL. Must be at least 6 by Dec. 31, 2009 and not older than 12 on Dec. 31, 2009 for SOFTBALL. Players new to the league must provide acceptable form of birth verification: original birth certificate, passport, or military ID card.
What area does DTQ Little League cover? DTQ Little League includes Dumfries, Triangle, Montclair, Neabsco, Northern Stafford County and the Quantico Marine Corps Base. All players must show proof of residency.
What are the fees? Fees are $75-$125, based on age. Family maximum $275 (In Person registration only)Players keep their complete uniforms (socks, pant, shirt, hat)Scholarships are available through the Beth Lowe Scholarship Fund. Where are games played? Games are played in the Dumfries, Montclair & Neabsco area.
How are teams formed? Skills evaluations are held for Minors through SR League, with consideration given for neighborhood teams at the Machine Pitch and T Ball levels.
How can I become more involved as a volunteer? DTQ is run solely by volunteers. At registration, please talk to any of the board members.

What is the 2010 League schedule? Minor, Major & Softball division players participate in DTQ Spring Training Camp conducted by Mike Colangelo & Colangelo Baseball during February and March. Teams begin practice on/about April 1, and the season ends around June 26. Teams play 12-16 games.
What is the purpose of DTQ Little League? To learn baseball and softball, make new friends, but most of all: HAVE FUN !!!
