Waterford Beats Delavan

 

  •  Waterford came in to Delavan and beat up on the Blackhawks winning the game 10-4. 
  •  Delavan gets swept by Mukwonago 8-7 and 7-2.  Alex Nieuwenhuis pitched the distance in the first game of the double header.  Todd Nieuwenhuis pitched the first 5 innings of the second game with Nathan Boltz coming in relief to finish out the game.  Leading hitters in the first game were Nathan Boltz who went 3-4 with 3 runs scored and Hank Johnson who was 1-2 with a home run and 3 RBI's and two walks.  In the second game the leading hitter was Kevin Wenzel who was 2-3 with 2 singles. 
  • Delavan next game is June 28 agains't Waterford at Veteran's Field beginning at 1:30pm.   
  • Delavan sweeps Burlington today 6-3 and 10-7.    Matt Lisbeth took the win in the first game and Bryce Kadlec took the win in the second game.  Homeruns by Todd Nieuwenhuis and David Wenzel.  Which takes their record to 4-5 overall.
  • Delavan splits with Rome with Delavan winning the first game 13-6 and lost the second game 7-1.  Matt Lisbeth got the win in the first game and Jeff Smith had the win in the second game. 
  • Memorial Day Weekend...
  • Blackhawks lost both games this past weekend.  Both games had plenty of hitting and scoring however not much pitching and defense for the hawks.  Genesse beat Delavan 17-12 in 10 innings and Waterford won 26-12.
