Dale Teubner Memorial Little League: Season Divisions
Minor LeagueMinor League is for children 9 &10 years of age. At this level, the children are still learning the fundamentals of baseball and sportsmanship, however, the competitiveness is raised slightly. These are the years when a child determines if baseball is the game for him/her. So, a great coach is needed for every team.
Major League
Major league division is for children 11-12 years of age. At this level, the competition level increases. Sportsmanship and fundamentals are still the basis for this group.
Rookie Division
Coach Pitch Minor Division for children ages 7 & 8. This is a non-competitive division established to teach the fundamentals of baseball to our youth.
T-Ball/Coach Pitch
T-Ball/Coach is for children ages 4-6. This level is not competitive. It is to teach the fundamentals of baseball. Most important, though, it is to teach sportsmanship. All children will play the field and bat.
Junior League
Junior League is for kids 13&14 years of age. This is were the competitiveness greatly increases. This group and those higher are no longer considered "Fundamental leagues". Most kids in this league have played baseball for a few years. However, 1st year players are always welcome to come and learn the great game of baseball.
Senior League
Senior League is for kids 15&16 years of age. Again, like the Junior League, this is competitive baseball. Most kids at his level play baseball in school also. Sportsmanship is still taught.
