As a professional soccer player, Stefan has played in more than 350 professional matches and scored more than 120 goals. Stefan's professional career began in Bulgaria at age 17 with FC Locomotiv-Plovdiv. In 1991 he signed with the most popular Bulgarian Soccer Club, FC CSKA-Sofia / Champion 1991 and Cup Winner 1992. Stefan also played for FC Botev before moving to Hong Kong where he played for FC Instant-Dict and won the local championships, 1998 and FA Cup, 1997 & 1998. His professional career as a player finished with FC Leisoesh-Porto, Portugal. He has participated in European Cup competition, Champions League, and Asia Cup competition. Additionally, he has played for the Youth National Teams of Bulgaria. As a professional soccer coach, Stefan's career began very successfully. As the Head Coach for FC Locomotiv-Plovdiv he took fourth place and moved up into the first Bulgarian division. After winning a chance to visit the United States, Stefan dediced to make his home here in Maryland. He has been coaching in the Maryland area for two years and holds a UEFA 'A' license from the National Sports Academy-Sofia. Currently Stefan coaches or trains the following: Head Men's Coach Howard Community College ;Head Coach - TSC "Thunder" Red Boys 90; Head Coach - TSC "Thunder" United Boys 89 ;Head Coach TSC "Thunder" Ajax Boys 92 ;         Head Coach "Thunder" Juventus Boys 92
