I was born and raised in Las Vegas. My family has always been involved in competitive sports. As a child I played soccer from U5 to U11 and on the high school varsity team my freshman and sophomore years. During the years I did not play soccer, I was involved in BMX racing. I was rated the #1 girl in Nevada from 1988 to 1992 and finished in the top 15 in the USA from 1989 to 1992. I also qualified to race in the world championships in 1992.

I began coaching my daughter's soccer team in the Fall season of 2001, and have continued to coach her team since. In the Fall season of 2005, I also started coaching a second team for the younger siblings of the players on my daughter's team and have coach two teams since then. In 2003, I joined the board for the Rainbow Youth Soccer League, and I currently hold the position of League Secretary.

I currently hold a National D license. My coaching focus is individual player development and making the game simple. Using that theory (and a lot of work from the players), I was able to take a rec team with only 1 win to an extremely competitive team in under six months.

I currently play on a few different indoor and outdoor teams.
