Downingtown Thunder: Welcome

No practice, Monday March 8.  We will practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights this week.

 Freestyle season is coming soon!  If you want to continue training and try something a little different, consider Thunder's Freestyle/Greco Roman (Olympic style) practice sessions starting March 25 at the DEC.  Thunder will also be hosting a PAWF qualifier tournament on April 10 at Downingtown West High School so you can show off all your new skills.  Go to the "Freestyle" tab to the left for more information.

Please plan on attending our end-of-year banquet on March 23 at Downingtown West High School.  Tickets are available from Maria McDowell (mariavmcdowell@gmail.com).

As you may know, the 2011 NCAA Wrestling Championships will be held March 17-19, 2011 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia.  We have been given the opportunity to purchase a block of tickets to the event before tickets go on sale to the general public.  We need to purchase a block of ten or more tickets to take advantage of this offer.  Tickets are $135 each , which covers access to all six sessions over the three day period.  If you are interested, please talk to Andrew McDowell  at practice on Tuesday or Thursday night, or call  or send him an email.  (andrew.mcdowell@sap.com  or call 484-988-0120).
