I've added the practice schedule as I know it to PRACTICES on the left side. I will add more when I know where and when.

I will post things on MY SITE NEWS as they come up. Players and parents should check it offen as things change quickly.

For those of you interested in seeing the information about our league as well as the 15U league and 18U league and lots of league information click on LINKS on left and then on the site name provided to go there. IN ADDITION, IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS AT THE LEAGUE INFORMATION SITE YOU CAN VIEW THE LEAGUE STANDINGS.

Some things automatically go on the CALENDAR on the left side. Just go to the month your interested in and click on the highlighted event (Dow BB Practice or whatever) to show place, and whatever else was put there. When you click on the highlighted event a drop down menu will show the address and a map symbol on left of address. Click on it and you will get a map.

I've put files that I think are of interest in HANDOUTS. To view the things there, go to HANDOUTS on left side and click, choose the item you wish to view and click. A dropdown menu will appear, click on the download and it will open for viewing or printing.

These are PDF, EXCEL XLS and WORD DOC files. For the PDF type files you will need Acrobat Reader to read them. Acrobat Reader is free at Just download it and then you can view the files.

If you want to save a file on the DOWNLOAD menu right click, then click on SAVE TO TARGET and save in your C drive whereever you want it.

The purpose is to provide information about Dow Baseball. This includes team members, record, statistics and anything else that might be of interest.

Dow Baseball is a little glimpse at College Ball, a commitment to yourself to be the best you can be. Dow Baseball is not for everyone: Commitment to the Club in August, turning out once a week January through April, sandwiched around your football, basketball, school baseball, studies, family and church obligations...then playing over 5.5 games a week average, traveling to Langley, Topinish, The World Series, and all point in between, playing 8 or 10 tournaments until the middle of August. A commitment to learning that it's not just getting the out that is important but how you get the out!

It's learning that baseball is like life; commitment, dedication, hard work, sacrifice, team work, responsibility, a tough coach and then finding out there is another player who for this one season is bigger, faster, stronger, and having a better year than you. But, you must still give it everything you've got and make a contribution, and honor your commitment.

It's parents working in the concession stand, preparing the field, working at the auction, raising money so their son can play a game. It's a family commitment.

Everyone tops out. When you play for Dow, our goal is to make you last longer and to insure that when you're 40 and look back, you'll say, "I gave it my best shot when I played for Dow" and not say "I wish I had".
