Track: Welcome
Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 at OHara beginning the week of March 3rd.
*Until meets begin we will have Saturday practice at 1pm at OHara.
*Once meets begin we will have an additional practice on Mondays at 5:30 for all distance runners and field event participants.
*Remember to bring a water bottle and running shoes to practice.
In order to participate in championship meets your son/daughter needs to participate in at least 3 qualifying meets.
March 29th - at Springfield High School: OLP, St. Francis Assisi, St. Francis DeSales, St. Dorothy
April 5th - at Chichester High School: OLC, St. Francis DeSales, St. Joseph of Aston, St. John Chrysostom, St. Dorothy.
April 12th - at Cardinal O'Hara High School: Holy Cross, St. Joseph of Aston, St.Charles/St. Eugene, St. Dorothy
April 19th - at Garnet Valley High School: St. Thomas/St. Corneilus, St. Cyril, OLP, St. Dorothy
April 22nd CYO Night at Penn Relays
April 25th CYO Finals at Penn Relays
April 26th - at Academy Park High School: St. Joseph of Collingdale, BVM, Holy Cross, St. Francis Assisi, OLC, Holy Child, St. Dorothy.
May 3rd - Divisional Championships
May 10th - Knight of Columbus Relay Carnival
May 17th - Area Championships
May 31st - Archdiocesan/City Championships (Franklin Field)
BOYS will run in the MORNING this season and GIRLS will follow in the AFTERNOON.
Parents will be required to help out during at least 1 meet for each child of theirs that is participating. The CYO rule is for every 5 children on the team there should be 1 adult volunteer from the school. Once the meet schedule has been finalized a Sign-up Sheet for Parent Volunteers will be circulated. We will need an even disbursement of timers/field event judges throughout the season.
