Dorval Touch Football Rules
- 15-minute quarters

- 5 last plays is called after the 15 miuntes in the second and fourth quarters have been completed

- 10-yard end-zone vs. 20-yard end-zone (lack of space on the field)

- Total of timeouts, 1 per half, and one floater.

- 3 downs to gain 10 yards for the first down

- All players on the same team must have the same color jersey, preferably, with different numbers.

- In order for a player to be eligable to play in the playoffs, the player needs to play in 5 or more regular season games with their team.

- A maximum 4 currently registered A-ball players on the field at one time, A maximum of 5 A-ball players per team (A-ball is defined as having played in A-ball tournaments within the last 3 years).

- The issue about having A-QBs play QB or half-back has been resolved. The captains have voted, as in the previous years, and it is forbidden for an A-QB to play QB or half-back.

- All games must start on time. If a team is late to start, they have 5-minutes of grace defore the game is called. However, there is a 10-yard penalty applied on the kickoff. A team can start with 5 players.

- Talking back to the referee in an inappropriate manner is an automatic 15-yard penalty.

- Referee has the right to give a player a personal foul (character on the field i.e. verbal abuse, misconduct, etc.) 15-yard penalty and is permitted to have a a player removed from the field for 5 plays. This is considered unsportsman-like conduct. A team forfeits thier game if they have 3 unsportsman-like conduct penalties in one game.

- **New** In the event of Offensive target pass interance, if accepted, the penalty will now be aligned with Touch Football Quebec; it becomes change of possession at the point of infraction. Remote pass interference stays the same as a 10-yard penalty. Change of possession will only happen if it is an obvious oportunity for an interception.

- **New** Suspensions are handed out by the commissioner.

- Ties exist during the season; there is no overtime.

- In playoffs have overtime, one full quarter. If there is no winner that we have shootouts. It starts of with three each tries going back and fourth; winner is the one who has the most converts. If there is no winner, than we go with sudden death shootouts; with opportunity to match.

- Playoff seed ties are calculated as follows:
1.        Points
2.        Head to Head
4.        In the event of a tie in points and head to head, than we use the Ratio.
