Recreational Men's Slo-Pitch League for teams in the Dorchester/Thames Centre area.
Welcome to official website for the Dorchester Mens Recreational Slo-Pitch League.
This is the place where you can come and get all info about the upcoming 2013 slo-pitch season. You can view your schedule, standings, news, and much more, so have a look around. If you have any ideas, or constructive criticism please feel free to send them in.
We will have all 8 teams in our league back again this season, Craig Davis Trucking, Diamond Kings, Dugouts, Mill Pond, Originals, The Mortgage Teachers, Softballs., and Village Ford. Good luck to everyone and here's to a good year.

Reporting Scores
Scores are to be submitted to Wayne via email (preferred) or phone/text by the WINNING team no later than the Sunday following the game played. If scores are not received by this time, then a 0-0 tie will be awarded. Please submit any home runs hit (over the fence, not inside the park) with the scores (if the losing team has any home runs they will need to email/phone those in, they will not be the responsibility of the winning team).

Playoffs 2012
Below is a the schedule for the Playoffs, it is also available in PDF format for printing in the downloads section, or click here. Playoffs will begin Wednesday September 12, 2012. All teams will also play Friday September 14, and will be guaranteed at least 2 games on Saturday.
- League will supply umpire, and 1 new ball per game, each team is to also supply 1 good used ball to the umpire.
- Round-Robin games - no new inning after scheduled Start time of next game. No extra innings to break ties.
- After the round-robin, all games are to be played to completion, no time limit, no ties.
- No mercy rule. Runs for and against will be needed to determine position for Semi-Finals. Home teams do NOT bat in bottom of 7th when leading.
- Scores are to be submitted by the WINNING team by email or phone immediately after the games on Wednesday and Friday. Scores on Saturday are to be reported immediately following the games to the scoreboard posted in front of the concession at Diamond #1.
- There is NO coin toss for home team, home team is shown on the schedule based
on final regular season standing for the round-robin, and round-robin standing for the semi-finals and finals.
