The Dolton Bears would like to congratulate Dolton Bears Alums, Steven Filer of Mt. Carmel High School and Curtiz Mathis of Thornton Township High School for being ranked amongst the Top 100 players in the Chicago Area in the Chicago Sun-Times! Steven Filer is currently a Junior Linebacker for the Mt. Carmel Caravan and Curtiz Mathis is a Senior Linebacker for The Thornton Wildcats.

Robeson receiver Brandon Green is regarded by many as the best Public League player in the Class of 2008. He is a tremendous athlete who will be a big-time recruit next year, Joliet-based scout Tim O'Halloran of Edgytim.com said.
The other four are Mount Carmel linebacker Steven Filer; Simeon quarterback Jack Ramsey; Homewood-Flossmoor quarterback-wide receiver-defensive back Supo Sanni; and Lemont offensive lineman Graham Pocic.
