Our Mission The YMCA of Greater New York is a community service organization which promotes positive values through programs, that build spirit, mind and body, welcoming all people, with a focus on youth. Brooklyn Friends School Between the world outside Brooklyn Friends School and the world inside our doors there is a palpable difference. The Heights Players From our genesis in 1956 among members of the Plymouth Church on Orange St., to our first performance at the Unitarian Church on Pierrepont St. in February 1957, to later productions staged at The Bossert Hotel on Montague St. - with a benefit given at the Packer Collegiate Institute on Joralemon St. - the Heights Players finally found a permanent home at 26 Willow Place, established as the Brooklyn Community Center in 1962, renamed the A.T. White Community Center in 1967. The players have been producing quality theatre for over 50 years. Coburn Architecture Coburn Architecture, PC (CAPC) Based in Brooklyn's historic waterfront district, combines substantial practical experience with abundant imagination and energy. Headed by Brendan Coburn (AIA, NCARB), CAPC offers a wide array of services that include new building design, historic rowhouse and apartment renovation, country and suburban home modernization, and office design...
