CCNY (City College of New York)
Located at 133rd Street and Convent in Manhattan. Take Amsterdam Ave north and make a right onto 133rd St. Go to Convent and keep going directly into the parking lot.
Dykmann Park Fields Take the West Side Hwy. Stay on it North past the George Washington Bridge it becomes the Henry Hudson Pkwy. Stay on the Henry Hudson Pkwy past the turn for the Cloisters turn about 1/4 of a mile up Take the Dykmann Exit follow this ramp bear right First left hand turn follow that to the end (dead end) take another left. Take that as far as you can. Look for the River Park entrance the entrance is in the right. The field are approx. 300 yards up. We have Field #1 (fields are not marked) They are soccer fields. By Subway From the area of Trinity School Take the A train To the Dykmann Street stop. It is a ten or fifteen minute walk from there. You just follow the river. From CCNY Take the 1 or 9 train Fieldston School FROM THE WEST SIDE: Take the West Side Highway north. Go past the GW Bridge (DO NOT TAKE THE GW BRIDGE!). Keep going north on the Henry Hudson Highway. At the end of the highway, take the bridge to the Bronx and stay on the highway. Get off at the exit for 246th Street. At the light, make a right. Go straight for two blocks to the traffic circle. Make a right onto Fieldston Road. Go to the end and make a left. The parking area will be about 100 yds up on the right. The field is behind the building. FROM THE EAST SIDE OF MANHATTAN: Travel north on the Major Deegan Expressway (Route 87), take exit at Van Cortlandt Park South, bear right and cross over expressway. Go west to Broadway, turn right, continue to second traffic light (242nd Street) and turn left. Bear left onto Manhattan College Parkway and go up the hill past Manhattan College to the Fieldston campus. The first driveway on your left takes you to Fieldston Lower, and the second driveway is for Fieldston. Tell the guard you are with Doc's Lacrosse. Pier 40 Corner of West Houston and West Street Enter Pier 40 through the main entrance near the northern side of the building (there are some double-glass door), and go up the stairs to the second floor. Follow the signs for the outdoor field, which will take you to another staircase outside of the building on the second floor. Go down one level and you come out a doorway onto the field. It's a little convoluted at the present time, but once we get our final permits to open the field to the "public" (right now it's only open to "permit-holders"), the main gate at the entrance to Pier 40 will be open and usable." Trinity School Turf The field is located at Trinity School, on West 91st Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues in New York City Bedford Take the Hutchinson River Parkway to I-684 North and proceed to exit 4 (Bedford/Mt. Kisco). At bottom of exit ramp go right towards Bedford. You will pass Fox Lane HS and Sunnyfield Farm. At the Shell Station stop sign go left, which is north on Rt. 22. Pass Bedford Golf and Tennis Club on left. Then take the next left onto Clinton Road by Rippowam Schooll. Go a few yards down the road and park on the grass by the parking sign on the right. The field is accross the street. Bedford: Pound Ridge Elementary School-Upper Field Pound Ridge Elementary School Upper Field Route 172 (Pound Ridge Road) Pound Ridge, NY (across from the Pound Ridge Nursery) FROM MERRITT PARKWAY: Get off the Merritt Parkway at Exit 35 Stamford and head North onto Rt. 137 Continue into New York State on Rt. 137 until the STOP SIGN. Continue straight ahead up the hill. As you descend down the hill on Rt. 137, you will pass the Pound Ridge Park on the right-hand side. Continue past park, up the hill (½ mile) and make a left onto Pound Ridge Road. The Pound Ridge Elementary School is on your immediate right. Park behind the school and walk up to the upper lacrosse field. FROM INTERSTATE 684: Get off at Exit 4 and turn EAST onto Rt 172 Turn left at the Shell Gas Station onto Rt 22 Continue past the parochial school (St. Patricks) on the right Bear right at the next light (Bedford Village Green) onto Route 172 (Pound Ridge Road) Go for about 4 miles and the Pound Ridge Elementary School will be on your left. Park behind the school and walk up to the upper lacrosse field.
Brewster High School Take 684 north to the end of 6 lane highway. (It turns into Rt 22.) Continue on Rt 22 another 3 mi north and turn left on to Rt 312 (There is a traffic light and a McDonalds). Go 1 1/2 miles to Wells Middle School (on right) and make a right at traffic light on to Farm to Market Road. Follow 1/4 mile and turn on right on to Foggintown Road and high school will be first left. Bronxville Take the Henry Hudson Parkway to Cross County Parkway East to Exit 8 (Route 22 - Columbus Avenue). Follow Rt. 22 North. Make left to Pondfield Road, and continue to Midland Avenue. The school is at the Corner of Midland Avenue, and the field is on the left. Byrum Hills/Armonk Take 684 North and get off at Exit 3 (South to Armonk). Get onto Route 22 South off of ramp (Go under 684). At the 2nd light (Maple Avenue) turn right. At the 1st light (Bedford Road) turn right and bear left onto McDonald Avenue. The Crittendon Middle School is on the Left. Chappaqua Horace Greeley High School (914 238-3911) By car: Take the Saw Mill River Parkway north to Readers Digest Road (there is a light). Make a right and go over the railroad tracks and bear right over the hill. Take the second right into the school. By bus: I684 north to the Mt Kisco exit (Rt 172) and follow and then make left onto Rt 117. Go until you reach the Readers Digest building and then make a right onto Roaring Brook Rd. The school is 300 yd on left. Cockeysville, MD Located in Maryland, just north of Baltimore Dows Lane Take the Saw Mill River Parkway north to the Ardsley/Dobbs Ferry Exit. At the top of exit make a left toward Dobbs Ferry. At the four corners in Dobbs (2 gas stations, a church and empty lot, make a right on to Rt 9 north. After the second light make the next left that is not a driveway onto Dows Lane. Go to the end and the field is to the left as you face the school. Please park in the parking lot not on the grass. East Fishkill: (Van Wycke Jr. High School) Car: Take the Taconic State Pkway to I-84 west. THEN (see below) Bus: Take I-684 north to I-84 west. THEN (see below) Take I-84 west to exit 15 (Lime Kiln Road). Make a right at end of the exit . Go approximately 1 mi to end (T-street) and make a right onto Rt. 52. Go about a mile to the traffic light make a left onto Rt 376. Follow this into Hopewell Junction. When the road ends (T-street), make a right (the road is both Rt. 376 and Rt 82) and after a block make a left to stay on Rt. 376. Go approximately 1-2 mi to a traffic light. Van Wycke Jr. High School is immediately ahead. The field is immediately behind the school. Stay to the right to get there. Eastchester High School EASTCHESTER HIGH SCHOOL Stewart Place Eastchester, NY 10707 FROM SOUTH Hutchinson River Pkwy North to Exit 17 (North Ave) Left at end of ramp. At next light take left (Mill Rd.) At next light take right (California Rd.) then first left (Manchester Rd.). Continue and the field and school are on right. FROM NORTH Bronx River Pkwy to Leewood Drive exit (approx. 2 miles past Scarsdale exit) Left onto Leewood Drive. Follow to end Rt. 22 Post Rd. School is on left.
Far Rockaway HIGH SCHOOL Take the Grand Central Parkway to the Van Wyck Parkway (South; as if to JFK). Follow it to 878 (Nassau Expressway). Stay in right lane and follow Nassau Expressway to Seagirt Blvd. Follow Seagirt Blvd to 25th St. Make a right onto 25th St. and to up two stoplights. The high school is on the left at 25th St and Ocean Crest. JACOB RIIS PARK Take Grand Central Parkway to Van Wyck (heading toward JFK) .Get on Belt Parkway going West. Exit off Belt Parkway at Exit 11S / Flatbush Avenue South. Follow Flatbush Avenue across Marine Parkway Bridge. Continue to follow to Jacob Riis Park. Field is visible as soon as you enter the park after coming over the bridge. Franklin Lakes Take the George Washington Bridge to NJ and take Rt 4 west. Take Rt 208 north to the Summit Ave Exit and make left onto Summit Ave. Go down short hill and make left onto Franklin Ave. Make first right onto deKort Drive. Go past the Library and make a right turn at Police station. Fields are behind Police station Glen Ridge / Carteret Field Take the Lincoln Tunnel to Route 3 West. Pass Meadowlands. Go to the Garden State Parkway-South. Get off at Exit 151-Watchung Avenue. Make a Right at the exit. Go 3 lights to Ridgewood Ave, make a left. Travel down Ridgewood Ave, about 3 miles. Make a left on Carteret Street (not easily seen but it's there; just keep your eyes peeled). Carteret Field is a few blocks down on your left. Greenvale Greenwich - Sacred Heart Take the Hutchinson River Parkway (Rt.15)-From New York. Go to Exit30/King Street/120A. Bear Left Onto King Street The school is approx two miles. Take the second entrance into the school and park. You must walk down to the fields from this point. Greenwich Catholic School (St. Michael's Church) From Merrit Pkwy: Take Merritt Parkway to Exit 31- North St. Exit // Follow North St. south towards Greenwich Business district. From Merritt Parkway: -Travel northbound on Route 123 from Merritt Parkway (New Canaan- exit 38) -Pass Vista Fire House, continue to travel north to Shady Lane make right turn onto Shady Lane, (if you pass Meadow Pond School you went too far) -Make left onto next crossroad - Elmwood Road. -Onatru Farm is on right- parking is in the back and fields are behind the barn. 2. Manhasset High School LI Expressway: Take the LI Expressway to the Manhassett/ Shelter Rock Road Exit. Get off the highway and make a left at light. Go over the expressway. Continue on Shelter Rock Road. Grand Central Parkway:Grand Central Parkway becomes Northern State Parkway and continue to Shelter Rock Road exit (Manhassett). At exit ramp light to left (North) over the Parkway and the LI expressway and continue on Shelter Rock Road From Shelter Rock Road: Take Shelter Rock Road to the end. Make a left at light onto Northern Boulevard. Go 2 lights and make a right onto Plandome Road. At the first light make a left (Texaco Station on the far corner) on Manhassett Avenue and follow it up to the high school (road bears to the left). The Baltimore group wlll be playing on the front field, immediately in front of the high school. The LI group will be at a nearby field. Mt Lakes NJ Lacrosse (near Parsippany): Take Route 80 west to 287 North. Take Exit 43 (Mtn. Lakes/Intervale Road). At the end of the ramp make a left. At the first traffic light make a right onto Fanny Road. At the first stop sign take a left onto Morris Ave. Go 1 mile and make a right onto Briarcliff. Then proceed to either the vasity field or the Pitt field: VARSITY FIELD: Continue down Briarcliff and go past Briarcliff School and make first right onto Glen Road. Go 100 yards and make right into parking lot, which is is next to Wildwood School. The field is behind Wildwood School. or PIT FIELD: Continue down Briarcliff and take second right onto Bellvale. Go 50 yards, make a left into the parking lot which is behind Briarcliff School. Follow the Path (walking)down to the Field which is 200 yards directly behind school. Nanuet High School Take the George Washnigton Bridge Upper level to the Palisades Parkway North. Take exit 8W -Route 59 West toward Spring Valley. Make left at first light (Smith St.) School is a 1/4 mile up on the left.
New Caanan Merritt Parkway: Go north to exit 37. At the end of the exit ramp turn left. Follow approximately 1 mile past the YMCA. You will see the Saxe Middle School on the right. Go to the light and make a right and a second right into the parking lot. For the high school, make a left at the light. I-95: Go north to exit 11. At the end of the exit ramp turn left onto Post Road. Follow Post road to Rt. 124 and turn left onto Rt. 124 towards New Caanan. Follow Rt. 124 north for approximately 6 miles. You will see the Saxe Middle School on the right. Go to the light and make a right and a second right into the parking lot. For the high school, make a left at the light. Nyack High School From the Tappen Zee Bridge: Take the Tappan Zee Bridge west and take exit 11 (the second exit after the bridge; Note: both the first and the second exits say "Nyack"). Go straight to the light and make a left onto Rt 9W north. At the second light, make a left onto Christian Herald Road to the High School. Take the second driveway on the left and the field is behind the building. From the George Washington Bridge: From the GW bridge west take the Pallisades Parkway north to the NYS Thruway towards the Tappan Zee Bridge. Get off EXIT 11 (Nyack). Go one block to first traffic light (Route 9W) Turn left onto Route 9W NORTH. Proceed approximately one mile - on the left you will see the HS, but you cannot enter from Rte. 9W, heading north. Proceed straight to the traffic light. Turn left onto Christian Herald Road to the High School. Take the second driveway on the left and the field is behind the building. Pelham High School NOTE: The Pelham HS exit is on the lower Hutchenson River Pkway, below the Cross County Parkway. Total time should be less than 30 minutes from both directions. If lost, ask for directions to Pelham HS. Eastside: Take the Willis Ave Bridge or Triborough Bridge to the Bruckner Expressway. Take the Hutchinson Pkwy North to Exit 9 (Wolfs Lane Pelham). At the exit make a left and the highschool is in front of you at exit) make first right and the field will be on your left. Westside: Take the West Side Highway to the Henry Hudson Parkway. Take the Cross County Pkwy east to the Hutchinson River Parkway South. Get off at Exit 10. At the end of the exit make a left and continue through stop light and field will be on the right . Phillipstown The field is in Garrison, which is on the east side of the Hudson, across from West Point. According to the coach, this is said to be the easiest way even though it entails crossing the Hudson twice: Take the George Washington Bridge to the Palisades and go north. Take the Bear Mountain Bridge back across the Hudson. At the end of the bridge, make a left and go about 5 mi to Garrison. Continue through the light, past two gas stations and the field is on the left in Phillipstown Park (on Rt. 9D). Alternative route: Saw Mill River Pkwy or Sprain Pkwy to RT 9A. Take 9A north until it merges with 9 and continue on 9. Go through the circle and continue north on 9 until you reach Rt 403 and make a left. Go about 3 mi and make a right onto Rt 9D. Continue for about 1 ½ mi to the field. Pleasantville By Car: Take Saw Mill River Parkway North. After passing the Troop K County Police Station on left and after going under the Taconic Parkway, one mile later, you will come to the stop light at Thornwood. At stop light stay to right and exit toward Marble Avenue. At next light (Texaco station will be ahead and to the left), make left turn onto Marble Avenue. You will pass McDonald's on left. Continue just past a small cemetery and make a right onto Sunnyside Avenue. Once on Sunnyside you will come to a stop sign. At the stop sign you will go under a railroad track. After going under the train tracks proceed uphill until you come to the next stop sign. This is the intersection of Sunnyside and Clinton Avenues. At this intersection make a right. Go approximately 100 feet to the parking lot on the right. The Pleasantville High School "back" field is there. By Bus: Take I-287 to I-684 north. Take Exit 2 (Westchester Airport Exit; Rt 120) and make a right off ramp. Go to the light and make a left onto Rt 120. On Rt 120 you will eventually come to a yield sign at Rt. 22. North. Kensico Reservoir will be on the left. At the next stop light, get to the left, and then make left turn which will put you back onto Rt 120 (King Street). Continue several miles. After passing Orchard Brook Road (on left) make a left onto Bear Ridge Rd. Bear Ridge is a relatively long road. Stay on it to the end, and then make a right onto Rt 117 (Broadway). This brings you into the "Old Village." When you see Caf Strega on the left, make a left at that light onto Bedford Rd, go approximately one-quarter mile to Romer Ave and make another left. Directly ahead you will see Pleasantville High School. At the stop sign make a right instead of going into the circle, and then make a quick left into the parking lot. The Pleasantville High School "back" field is straight ahead. Princeton- Hopewell Tournament From the NJ Turnpike: Exit 9 to Route 1 South; Route 1 south for approximately 15 miles to Washington Road (Mercer County Road number 571) Turn right; Washington Road West approximately 0.5 miles to the fields on the north side of the road; Parking is in the designated areas only Randalls Island (Corbin's Crusaders field) Go down the ramp from the bridge and go around the circle. The field is beyond the tennis courts. Ridgewood/Maple Field -Take GW bridge -To route 4 -To Route 17N FROM ROUTE 17 NORTH Route 17 North to Linwood Avenue West - Ridgewood (The 2nd Linwood Avenue exit is Linwood Avenue West) Go up and over Route 17 and follow signs toward Ridgewood. After the 3rd traffic light (North Van Dien Avenue), take SECOND RIGHT onto Northern Pkwy. Take IMMEDIATE LEFT into parking lot and follow one way sign on your RIGHT into long parking area. Maple Field is on your LEFT. Scaresdale Middle School -Take the Hutchinson River Pkwy north to exit 22. -Make a right off the exit. -Go straight on this road for approx. 1 1/2 miles. -You will go straight through 3 traffic lights. After the third light, the school will be on the left. -(The first traffic light will have fields on each side. -The second traffic light will have a school on the opposite right corner. -The third light will have houses on all corners.)
Scarsdale Cars: Take the Hutchinson River Parkway north to Exit 22. At the end, make a right and the field is approximately 1/2 mile down the road on the right. Bus: Take I-95 north to Fennimore Road Exit (in Mamaronak). Go down ramp and make a left onto Fennimore Rd. Take to end and then make a right. Pass Quaker Ridge Golf club and at the end of the road (T-intersection), make a left onto Old White Plains Road (this becomes Old Mamaroneck Rd). On the right is Saxon Woods Golf Club on the right and Boulder Brook Field is on the left. Use Scarsdale Community Pool entrance. Shrub Oak (VanCortland Elementary School) BUS: Take I-684 north to the Katona/Cross River exit (Route 35). Take Rt. 35 west and follow it for about 3-4 miles. Make a right onto Rt 202 (Texaco Station) and go past Yorktown HS (2 miles). Make a right onto Route 132 and take it to the end, which is Route 6. Make left and go west for approximately 2 mi (past Cortland Town Center) and the VanCortland Elementary school will be on left left. Make right at the end of field to parking area. CAR: Take the Taconic State Parkway north to route 6 exit. When you get off, make a left at the light. Go west for about 2 mi (past Cortland town center) and the VanCortland Elementary school will be on the left. Make right at the end of field to parking area. Somers High School From Interstate 684 Exit 6 or Saw Mill Parkway, take Route 35 west and turn right on Route 100 north. Turn left on Route 139. Go approximately 3/4 miles past Somers Reis Park and turn right into Somers High School. Lacrosse playing fields are located down behind football stadium field. St Paul Cathedral, Garden City -Take Triboro Bridge -To Grand Central Parkway East -To Cross Island Parkway South -To Southern State East -Take Exit 19N, Pennisula Blvd. -Pass 2 lights -Make left onto President Street -Cross over Fulton -Street becomes Cathedral Ave -Go 1 ½ miles and over railroad tracks -Make left atSecons light onto Stewart Avenue -Look for St. Pauls -Fields in the back Suffern Middle School NY State Thruway (going north): Get off at exit 14B (Airmont Road) At the top of the ramp make a right onto Airmont Road. Go down to a set of several traffic lights and make a left onto Montebello Road (it's the last of this group of lights). Follow Montobello Road for less than a mile. The Middle School will be on your left at the top of a small hill. Palisades Parkway: Get off at Exit 12 (Route 202, Suffern). Go 5.8 miles to Viola Road (Look for the Grace Baptist Church and a sign for Rockland Community College on the right). Approximately 100 yards beyond the church make a left onto Viola Road. Go down two blocks and make a right onto Montebello Road. Follow Montobello Road for less than a mile. The Middle School will be on your left at the top of a small hill. Summit Lacrosse Club From NJ Turnpike, get off at Exit 14 Newark Airport then follow signs and get on I-78 West From the Garden State Parkway, get off at Exit 142 and take I-78 West Take I-78 West to Route 24 West (exit 48). Follow Route 24 to Exit 7B River Road, Summit. Follow jug handle around onto River Road and take River Road to the first light, make left onto Morris Avenue. At the first light, make a left into the parking lot of Washington School; field is behind the school.
Tristate Lacrosse Turf City (Indoor League) Take I-80 west from the George Washington Bridge to Rt. 23 North. Go 1.8 miles to Newark-Pompton Turnpike overpass. Go over Rt. 23 & take a second right(Old Newark-Pompton Tpk.) & then two quick lefts into parking lot. We are located behind Burger King. Tuckahoe High School U. Mass University of Massachusetts Wayne NJ (Sheffield Field) via Lincoln tunnel: Take Rt. 3 west to Rt 46 west to Rt 23 north. When approaching 5th light on Rt 23 north move to right to take right on Jackson Ave. (can't take right at the light so move to right before the light) A&P shopping center is there on right Approx. 150 yards make first right onto Farmingdale Rd. - fields are 50 yards on the right. Sheffield Field. via GW bridge: Rt 80 west to Rt.23 north; Then same as above Westfield Westfield: Edison Intermediate School Field Westport (Note: There are two fields) Wakeman Park Field Merritt Parkway: Exit 42 (Westport/Weston). Proceed South to an immediate fork. Do not bear right, go straight. Proceed through 4-way stop to the end of the street. Turn left on Cross Parkway. Follow Cross Highway to first stop (North Ave). Proceed straight to entrance of Wakeman Park which is approximately 1/4 mile on your right. I-95: Exit 18 (Sherwood Island). Proceed North on the Sherwood Island Connector to where it ends at Rt. 1. Turn right on Rt. 1 and proceed to the intersection with Morningside Rd (approx. ½ mi) Turn left on Morningside and follow to the first stop sign. Turn right on Long Lots Rd to first stop sign (North Ave). Turn left on North Avenue and proceed approx 1 mile to first stop sign (Cross Highway). Turn right on Cross Highway. The entrance to Wakeman Park will be 1/4 mile on your left. Bedford Middle School Merritt Parkway: Take Exit 41 and go down the ramp. Make a left onto Route 33 going south. Go past US1 and Bedford Middle School will be 1/4 mile on the right (west side) just past the church. White Plains Major Deegan Take the Major Deegan (I-87) to I-287 EAST (towards Connecticut) and then get off at Exit 9 (I-684 / BREWSTER). The exit ramp splits for 684 & Westchester Ave. Take Westchester Ave (NOT I-684) and make a right onto Bryant Ave and proceed up the hill to the 2nd traffic light. Make a left into the H.S. (SIDE ENTRANCE). The fields will be on the left. Hutchinson River Parkway Hutchinson River ParkwayTake the Hutchinson River Parkway to North Street (exit before Westchester Ave). At the end of the ramp, make a left onto North Street (going north) and go towards White Plains for 1 3/4 miles. Make a right onto Bryant Ave. After 1 or 2 lights, the high school wil be on the right. There is Church as well. Fields should be visible from the road. Yale Eli Tournament/Jamboree (Across the street from the Yale Bowl) Merrit Parkway: Go to exit 57 (Route 34, New Haven). Continue six lights (past Forest Road intersection of car dealership) and make left on Central Avenue. Parking is on the left and the field is by the horse barn. I-95: Take I-95 east towards New Haven. Go over the bridge to Downtown New Haven exit. Continue to end of ramp and go straight. (road becomes Rt. 34). Continue until the end and take a right onto Boulevard (Rt. 10). Take left at first light back onto Rt. 34 and continue past Yale Bowl and baseball field to second light (Central Ave). Take right onto Central Avenue and parking is on the left and field is by the horse barn. Yorktown: Brookside School Brookside School Take the Taconic Pkwy northbound to Underhill Ave. Get off and make right onto Underhill and go a little over 1 mile to first traffic light. Make left onto Rt 118. Take it through downtown Yorktown straight through two intersections. There is a Mobil Station on right. Keep going and make the second left past the Mobil Station onto Broad Street (~1/2 mi). Brookside School is ¼ mile on the left. Parking lot on left. If lot is full, can go behind for parking. Fields on the right. Yorktown: High School High School Take the Taconic Pkwy to Yorktown exit Route 202 (NOTE: this is not the first Yorktown exit). Make right turn at bottom of exit, go to third traffic light and make right turn into the high school parking lot. or Take I-684 north to the Katona/Cross River exit (Route 35). Take Rt. 35 west and follow it for about 3-4 miles. When you get into town, make a right onto Rt 202 (Texaco Station at corner) and go about 2 miles. At the 3rd light make a left turn into Yorktown Heights High School. The field is behind the school. Yorktown: Sports Barn Field Directions to Sports Barn Field Take the Taconic Parkway north. Take the exit for Route 202 (Yorktown/Peekskill; Please note that there are other Yorktown exits before this.). At the end of the ramp make a right turn. You will go through one traffic light and then you will pass on the left the Jewish Community Center and the Ambulance Service. Immediately after passing Loretta St. you will see a large white building, the Sports Barn. Turn into the driveway and you should be able to see the field. Please note that there is parking behind the building. Please do not park in front. |
