| Good start today ladies! Second half had some very good passing and possession which we need to continue. First half had a bit too much kicking without a clear destination. I would like to see more side-to-side change of field play and a more aggressive surge out of the defensive end after change of possession to support the attack in the middle third. We got lost a bit there with too many turnovers which defeats our attack before it can build. Also, our heading game needs a little work (ice cream goal notwithstanding!). |

Hey Congrats on Being STATE CHAMPS.
I want to sign this guestbook to ask if any one on the team knew cool soccer sayings or chants I could use on my soccer cheers website. Keep up the great work on the Pitch,

Ladies,
Very well done yesterday! I was especially impressed with how strong the team was in the second half of the second game! The passing game really rocked, for the most part, with very few examples of just kicking the ball downfield.
One thing I would like to see us do a little better is receiving punts. On most of the goalie punts yesterday (both ways), the punts were not received on or before the first bounce. On a long punt, we can lose 20 or more yards of field position if we don't get the ball as it comes down the first time. I remember at least a couple of situations where a long punt by them led to immediate pressure on our goal. Getting to that ball just takes focus and a little timing, so let's see if we can get a "4" foot on those balls on Thursday!
