DISTRICT 51 LITTLE LEAGUE: D51 News
Little League Baseball has issued changes to Regulation I.
The changes now make it mandatory for background checks to be conducted annually on ALL... "managers, coaches, Board of Director members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide service to the league and/or have repetative access to, or contact with players of teams."
These individuals must have background screenings PRIOR to performing their duties for the League. ALL volunteers MUST fill out the official Little League Volunteer Application as provided by Little League International Headquarters. This form is available at the Official Little League Website.
Compliance with this Regulation IS NOT optional!
