Bernie Germani was born August 21, 1943 to Bernardo and Giovann Germani in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a long-time resident of Hawthorne, California and was an active member of the community.

He will live on in the hearts of his wife, Darlene; his children, Bernie Jr., Gina, John (Ninoska) and Shelley; grandchildren, Michael, Brandon and Jaylen; and countless friends.

Bernie was known for being a loving, devoted husband and father and he continually showed his children how to love through action and example.

During his career in flooring, he was told by many of his carpet dealers that he was the best rep ever. He received many awards and was a top producer for his various companies. Flooring was his other family!

Bernie loved sports and spent many years managing, coaching and getting thrown out of several little league games. He just felt compelled to argue with the umpires! He took the 12-year-old All Star team further than any other coach had in over 10 years. By show of hands, how many of you were told by Bernie, "Catch with both hands" or "Put your elbows up"? After managing and coaching, he became a member of the board for District 37 Little League.

Bernie had a way of brightening up the room, making everyone smile and laugh and he was a good friend to everyone. We will miss his laugh, his smile and his presence.
