NEW UMPIRE CLINIC LOCATION February 13, 2009 Everyone, We are conceding to the foul weather early this week, and have arranged for an indoor site for tomorrow's umpire clinic. The site is the Westchester Clubhouse at 85th Street and Emerson. This location will at least allow for a review of the mechanics documents previously distributed via email, as well as some PowerPoint and other graphics presentations. We may be able to add some plate mechanics work with a portable pitching machine, weather permitting. If the weather clears up enough, we plan to utilize a DRALL field a few blocks up the street from the Clubhouse for the second half of the clinic. This Saturday's clinic session is cancelled. Both Wiseburn's and Westchester's fields are
watersoaked, and not suitable for us to use. The current plan is to push the Session One agenda
to next week, and have Session Two and Session Three on the 21st and 22nd of February.

Everyone, February 4, 2009 The WLL/WDRLL Umpire Clinics are now confirmed for February 7, 14 and 21, 2009. The Clinics will be held at Wiseburn Field (135th & Aviation) from 2:00 PM -5:00 PM. Please attend with plate gear and indicators. Plate shoes will not be required at these clinics, but are recommended. We look forward to all of your attendance and particpation. The Westchester / Westchester Del Rey / Wiseburn LL Umpire Clinic is only a few weeks away. As always, umpires from any league are welcome to attend. The clinic dates are February 7th, 14th, and 21st, from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Wiseburn LL has offered to host the clinic this year at their field complex, which includes a LL Softball field and a LL Baseball field. These fields are located at 135th Street and Isis Avenue in Hawthorne. Both fields are in excellent condition, and will serve the needs of the clinic well.

This is an open email to all members of the South Bay Unit returning from the 2008 season and those who have expressed an interest in joining the Unit this season. This is a reminder that our first meeting is SATURDAY, JANUARY 3, 2009, 9 AM at Redondo Union High School Please bring with you to the meeting: 1) Unit Calendar for 2009 - see attached. 2) Unit Dues - 2009 dues are $50 for the year.
