Challenger Classic - November 5, 2011
Welcome to the Little League District 46 Website!
The next President's Meeting will be held on WEDNESDAY, February 15, 2012 at 7:30 in the Rancho Alamitos High School cafeteria.
This is NOT an umpires meeting.
Reminders:
Safety Officers are to attend and bring 2 copies of the 2012 Safety Manual. They will be meeting with Julie.
Travel Fund Due: If you have not submitted your payment, it due at this meeting - checks payable to: District 46.
Junior/Senior Teams: Rob will be asking for a team count from each league.
NOTICE TO ALL LEAGUES: On SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2012, there will be an umpire clinic held at WGG from 9:00 AM until 12:00. This clinic is open to all leagues that wish to send any and all that want to attend.
COACHES CLINIC - SUNDAY, APRIL 29, 2012 (location TBD): This will be the ONLY date for the District 46 Coaching/Pitching/First Aid Clinic. This is for ALL LEVELS of play. There will be no other make up dates. All new Managers and Coaches are to attend, uncertified Board members are encouraged to attend as well. Uncertified Managers and Coaches will not be allowed to Manage or Coach in District 46 tournaments.
New 50/70 forms have been uploaded to
Little League Baseball and Softball Inc. has approved certain composite bats from certain manufacturers to be use in the Junior, Senior, and Big League Baseball Division for the 2011 season.
THESE BATS MEET THE BALL EXIT SPEED RATIO (BESR) AND THE ACCELERATED BREAK IN (ABI) PROCEDURE.
