We are very excited to announce IDAHO'S first ever Showcase Tournament: The Diamond Bandit Showdown 2009 |
Come join us in the second largest city in Idaho situated in the
beautiful Treasure Valley Rocky Mountains. The event begins Thursday night
with a Coaches Dinner at Legends Sports Pub and Grill. There is a player
showcase Friday morning, and the games begin Friday afternoon.
Participating teams will have a four-game guarantee with flexible
substitution in pool play, ASA rules in bracket play. Pool play games are
70 minutes. Bracket games cannot start an inning after 80 minutes.
The player showcase, scheduled for Friday, May 29th, at 9:00 am,
is for all girls ages 14-18. Paramount Scouting and National Scouting
Report will host this showcase. Players may perform for and be evaluated at
one or several positions by college coaches and professional scouts for
running speed, arm strength, and fielding. Paramount Scouting and NSR
promote the showcase results to every college coach in the country. Top
performers can earn an invitation to the 2009 Paramount National Showcase.
Athletes also have the opportunity for softball-specific strength and
agility testing by Softball Fit. The cost for the showcase is $75.00 per
