In the first round State Playoff match-up against #7 ranked Pope, Dunwoody loses both games on Friday night.  Both games are hard fought.  Facing the #19th prospect in the nation, from the mound, Dunwoody keeps the 1st game close losing 4-2.  In the 2nd game, the lead changed hands or was tied on 7 different occasions.

Dunwoody will make its 7th straight appearance in the State Baseball Playoffs, beginning Friday, May 4th.  The Wildcats will have a rematch against the Greyhounds of Pope High School, who finished 3rd in Region 5-AAAA.  A double header will be played on Fri night, beginning at 5:00p.  An if needed game will be played on Sat., May 5th at 3:00p.
