Sunday, March 4 Team Dinner - Tuesday 3/6 - after practice at the Herberts - 17 Whaling Road Saturday, March 3 Blue Wave rolls into the Final Four!!!!! Upsetting the number 6 seed Daniel Hand! The incredible play of the Blue Wave team once again dominated it's opponents in the Quarter Final Round of the CIAC Tournament. The Blue Wave outplayed Hand and won a sound victory of 59-46...On to the semi-finals Wednesday evening..This is a historic event for Blue Wave Girls Basketball..a feat not accomplished until this year..GO WAVE! Sunday, March 4 Blue Wave Drops the Bomb on Fermi The Blue Wave girls beat up on Fermi in a nail biter in the second round of the CIAC tournament, with a final score of 63 to 57 in overtime! The Wave Rocks! Tuesday, February 27 Blue Wave cooks Bacon Academy in the first round of Class L CIAC Tournamnet 50-43! Thursday night's game information will be made available as soon as possible. Wednesday, January 24 Girls Basketball Banquet-Piedmont Club, Monday March 12, 7:00pm Please turn in your registration forms to Cindy Ryan - 3 Harbor Road - an accurate count in needed by 3/5. Thank you for your cooperation Wednesday, February 21 Three Blue Wave Players Earn All FCIAC recognition Meg Biggart was named to the All FCIAC third team in recognition of her outstanding play and talents. In addition, Sarah Herbert and Anne Ryan also received All FCIAC Honorable mentions for their excellent play this season. Congratulations to the entire Darien Girls Basketball team on a very successful and exciting season. Best of luck in the upcoming CIAC tournament.
