MR. H
The Doherty Baseball family has grown to respect, admire, and love the man we all call "Mr. H". We are proud to acknowledge the generous private and public support from Mr. and Mrs. H. They have given this support to the Doherty Athletic Programs for over 20 years. He is a life-time honorary member of the Diamond Club Board and is truly our Diamond on and off the field.
In 1998, the Doherty High School Athletic Department and the Diamond Club voted unanimously to name our baseball field in honor of Mr. H. It is now called the Hildebrand Field.
In 1996, the Diamond Club started the "Mr. H" award for outstanding sportsmanship, as well as team leadership.
Mr. H Award Winners
The Mr. H Award is awarded to a Senior Player that exemplifies Outstanding Sportsmanship, contributing to Doherty Spartan Baseball and by upholding the ideals of Mr. Tom Hildebrand.
