We ready to start our registration for the 2009 Spring Season of DeSoto Girls Fastpitch Softball !!
6U - 8U cost is $60
10U - 15U Cost: $70
The difference is the 6U & 8U only require one umpire. Due to the increase of the umpire cost we had to go up $5.00 on the older age groups.
You may register at the Town Center in DeSoto . The Rec. Center will have the forms. If you are a new player, please bring a copy of your birth certificate. Parents will need a proof of residence if you live in DeSoto. It can be a driver's license, water bill, electric, etc.
Each player will need a DeSoto All Sports ID card, which is required by the City of DeSoto. The cost is $5.00. The player will need to be present to have their picture taken. If you have one from the Fall 2008, you will not need one. These ID's are good for one year.
All coaches are required to fill out the Coach's information sheet , and the background check. This is mandatory.These forms are on this website, or can be picked up at the Rec. center.
The season will start Monday, March 23, 2009. The season should end in the middle of the month of May. We don't have a difient date until the schedules are done. There will be a "Fun Day" that following Saturday, March 28, 2009. More details will be given as the season approaches.
6U teams will have 10 games
8U - 15U will have a total of 12 games
