DeSoto Belles 18U Fastpitch Softball: News: Belles in St. Louis Indoor

Jamestown Indoor Tournament 

The Belles took to the indoor field at Jamestown Sports Complex January 17-18 for the USSSA indoor College Exposure tournament.  It was the first time back to game situations since the Fall season ended.  The Belles were a little short-handed going into the tournament but tag-teamed the pitching combo of Katelyn Appleby and Morgan Schimmel against the high level competition. 

Pool play was completed on Saturday with games against the Extreme Elite (IL) and the Wahoos (KS).  The Belles won their first bracket game on Sunday morning against the KC Zephyrs (Bruce).  The next bracket game was close vs. the Southwest Sluggers (MO) but the Belles let that one slip away.
